When I can put something to good use I've picked up and used for a totally new reason video's like your's give me just another reason to justify my collection of junk lol Thanks again for all you do ;) ;)
Once again you amaze me how you come up with ideas with the trash others throw out. I never thought about the funnel trick on fluid bed feeding. I will make one of these sometime. Keep it up.
Hey, Grandpa. Love your show. Your techniques are awesome. Can't wait to build my own Fluid Bed. After I do I will let you know how my works baised on your great mechanical ideas. They make tons of sense. Thanks, keep the cool videos coming !! Very enjoyable !!
Thanx mate...that was the most entertaining thing I have seen yet. Very honest and logical. BTW....singing.....it was good too. I was thinking in the line of pipes in the bottom of a 4 gal bucket somehow...but this is perfect...Thanx again Gran.
Pure genius! I bet the prospector supply companies shudder at the mention of your name. We are definitely kindred scrounging spirits. I was so amazed at this video and your coroplast sluice video, I'm going back to watch them all. I'm trying to think of a way to use this idea in the creek (which would make eliminate the cost of the pump and make it 100% free!!). I have a couple of videos of homemade beekeeping equipment I have made from "recycled" materials. But nothing as inventive as this. Thanks!
Great system. I made one very similar and the results are impressive. I especially agree that feeding the classified material at the water inlet level via a funneling system rather than at the overflow level is the way to go. Keep the innovative designs flowing Grandpa!
Thanks for the comment. I love doing things in a affordable fashion. It's not so much the fancy equipment, but the harnessing of the sciences involved. Thanks Grandpa!!!
Hey grandpa . I made one of these things and cannot get it to catch the gold. I;m only useing a 750gph pump .I used 1/2 inch pipe instead of 1 inch. The one I made does not boil the water like yours is but gold still ends up in the bucket. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks! I get fine gold on my trips to N. Georgia. If by flour gold, you mean like talcum powder...I'm not sure. What I get is more like the size of table salt and a little finer. But, try it out. It doesn't cost much to make this and that's what counts. Grandpa!!!
That was awesome. I have been wondering about that concept. Absolute genius! How fine of gold do you think that will recover? We just have flour gold where I am at in Alberta Canada
Grandpa: just a quick note on why I removed your comment: we did fill our dredge hole, and it should be obvious to you by the volume of knowledge we share, that we do care. If you'd just stated your beef, I would have left it, but you stepped over the line by making a personal attack. Hope your remember this in your future (great) videos.

I love it, "Harbor Freight; it's almost as good as getting it out of the garbage."

Heated metal pipe to cut plastic - I'll try that
Works great. Lessens possibility for cracks or tears. Thanks for watching
