yeah....A lot of these songs wouldnt be classified as EDM. just because it have an electronic wouldn't make it EDM. EDM has specific Percussion electronics being use. Some of these songs wouldnt need that because you can make the best using a keyboard in a different sound setting. or Even simple beats with applications in a computer. They don't use the what real EDM artists use. It's like saying. "oop there's a guitar it must be a country song" If these are all considered EDM songs then a good chunk of American music and all of K-pop would be considered EDM but it's not because it doesn't have the elements that make it EDM. Now like I said if you had said it wasn't that specific genre ONLY yeah I would be inclined to agree. A very large portion of this list though can be classified as EDM. It can also be classified as pop too though.
Okay well then let's use. Ariana's grandes "problem" for example. Iggy azalea raps. doesn't make it a rap song. Same with Selena Gomez's good for you. Had a rap part but it's not rap. It's added to make the song more unique not to classify it as another genre. Just because it has electronic sounds doesn't make EDM. some of these songs are lacking what makes EDM, EDM. If you agree with some, why put them in???
Again it goes back to what I said in my previous comment. There's not songs that are specifically one genre anymore hardly ever. It's just too rare. That's why I said EDM is used as a blanket term because you could in fact identify some of these songs as EDM due to having EDM elements in them. You could also identify them as you said as rap, pop, etc. Which is why I said that saying this isn't EDM is just incorrect. Songs use elements from several genres nowadays as that's the trend really now. So how you should read the title of this video is "60 of the best kpop songs ever that have EDM elements in them" and maybe that comes back to an error on the poster but at that point who cares. It's just nitpicking to say that basically this isn't EDM in a sense
For all the people complaining that not all of these are EDM, I'd recheck your definitions. EDM is an umbrella term for many different genres. Is it electronic? Can you dance to it? That's EDM. There are some genres like future bass, deep house, trap, moombahton, and yes tropical house is also EDM. There's also some less common ones like big house which was more common in 2nd gen and psytrance like in Dreamcatcher's Silent Night or Stray Kids' Side Effects. It's a lot more complex than that obviously, but there are many different music styles within EDM. Even AB6ix's Breathe is EDM despite it's calm vibes, that's just a common style of deep house. Pop is also an umbrella term, even more so, it's just popular music and can overlap with pretty much any genre. Kpop is also known for genre blending and some songs can be hard to sort into categories so it's perfectly reasonable to call songs with significant elements of EDM "EDM". Basically a lot of genres are mixed now. There's very few songs nowadays that are just solid concrete that one specific genre. I mean you have SNSD's IGAB back in 2013 which was pop, rap, edm, soul.. was a clusterfuck of a song. Also BTS incorporated a lot of rock into their earlier stuff and you could even argue that it was rock instead of pop or rap. There's just too much mixing nowadays to say "this song isn't xyz." Now like I said if you had said it wasn't that specific genre ONLY yeah I would be inclined to agree. A very large portion of this list though can be classified as EDM. It can also be classified as pop too though.

Okay well then let's use. Ariana's grandes "problem" for example. Iggy azalea raps. doesn't make it a rap song. Same with Selena Gomez's good for you. Had a rap part but it's not rap. It's added to make the song more unique not to classify it as another genre. Just because it has electronic sounds doesn't make EDM. some of these songs are lacking what makes EDM, EDM. If you agree with some, why put them in???
Again it goes back to what I said in my previous comment. There's not songs that are specifically one genre anymore hardly ever. It's just too rare. That's why I said EDM is used as a blanket term because you could in fact identify some of these songs as EDM due to having EDM elements in them. You could also identify them as you said as rap, pop, etc. Which is why I said that saying this isn't EDM is just incorrect. Songs use elements from several genres nowadays as that's the trend really now.
So how you should read the title of this video is "60 of the best kpop songs ever that have EDM elements in them" and maybe that comes back to an error on the poster but at that point who cares. It's just nitpicking to say that basically this isn't EDM in a sense

For all the people complaining that not all of these are EDM, I'd recheck your definitions. EDM is an umbrella term for many different genres. Is it electronic? Can you dance to it? That's EDM. There are some genres like future bass, deep house, trap, moombahton, and yes tropical house is also EDM. There's also some less common ones like big house which was more common in 2nd gen and psytrance like in Dreamcatcher's Silent Night or Stray Kids' Side Effects. It's a lot more complex than that obviously, but there are many different music styles within EDM. Even AB6ix's Breathe is EDM despite it's calm vibes, that's just a common style of deep house. Pop is also an umbrella term, even more so, it's just popular music and can overlap with pretty much any genre. Kpop is also known for genre blending and some songs can be hard to sort into categories so it's perfectly reasonable to call songs with significant elements of EDM "EDM".
