There is a small one in Glen Dale, the town just north of Moundsville. It is much smaller, and sits behind the house on the Cockayne Farmstead. It’s visible from Route 2, across the street from the exit of John Marshall High School.

According to a book I have been reading there are supposed to be two much smaller mounds in Moundsville a quarter of a mile north of the large mound. I had never heard of these. Where are they actually? Can one still see them or have they been destroyed? Anyone know?
