Even the rescue crew of the first helicopter on site has said they had never before been operating under such difficult conditions. I remember listening radio, couldn't get any sleep. Radio station played some random non stop music, and suddenly they announced that there's serious accident. Similar memories when Soviets finally left from Estonia and everything seemed very chaotic in Estonia, looting etc. 90s was crazy decade.
Carl Eric Reintamm did arrive the promenade deck 1 till 2 minutes after the loud 2 or 3 bangs that happened between ca. kl. 01.02 or 01.05. According to JAIC the bow visor fell of the ship around kl. 01.16. So the 2-3 big bangs, water on deck 1, and the following starboard listing did happen ca. 10-15 minutes before the separation of the bow visor! That is pretty strange, because that means that the sekvens of happenings did indeed start approximum 12-15 minutes before the car ramp could have let all the water inn on the car deck. That brings the questions on why the water came in on deck 1, and why the ship listed before the ramp fell down and the visor separated from the ship !? Reintamm did see something in the water that left the ship backwards to the left app. 10 minutes before the separation of the bow visor. Assuming that Reintamm looked backwards to the left from starboard promenade deck point of view, the thing in the water most likely could have hit the starboard side of the ship before the separation of the visor, and the opening of the ramp. If Reintamm speaks truth it clearly proves without any shadow of a doubt that the specific time of the the 2-3 loud bangs, the inlet of the water on deck 1, followed by the with 30 degrees starboard listing a few minutes later, that this sekvens of events clearly happened before the separation of the visor and the downfall of the ramp........
It's awful how you can hear the sound of the sea coming into the bridge at one point. It mjust have been terrifying for those poor people trapped in that ferry. I hope all of the people who died rest in peace and that a new investigation is done so that the real cause is found and their poor families can find peace too. It must be awful living twenty nine years not knowing what really happened to the people who have infinite meaning to you. I can't imagine it. Such a tragic disaster and one that needs to be solved.

Somehow now everything make sense. I was with my friend at this ship as then called Viking Sally. This trip was the first time for me for a 'big ship' as Viking Sally. To my friend..many times been before so that wasn't any new for her. We went to a dinner and the weather was quite fine. Then suddenly, just a second, the ship went from left to a right. My friend said "this is normal, nothing to be a worried about". I calmed down and continue eating. (I never have had sea sick as been born in island and always been used boats as my dad was a soldier) Then the ship turned quickly to the left again and to the right, again and again. I felt sick, I rushed into the cabin to throw up. It didn't take long when my friend followed me, she throwed to the garbage basket. So our trip ended with throwing all night both of us and in the morning with disappointed feelings about the trip. I have make trips afterwards with many ships but never had the same 'throw up's' as with Viking Sally. Maybe there was something going on then, meaning the visor or..??

If the ship was going worse than other ships in the sea and causing an abnormal amount of sea sickness due to faulty design, it would have been thoroughly investigated earlier. Especially when it was owned by Viking Line that commuted between Sweden and Finland, two countries with pretty rigurous safety checks
All of those lifeboats sure went to waste and helped nothing. I think Estonia is a much worse disaster than Titanic, they even had time to use the lifeboats, and weren't stuck inside the ship immediately, with people and random shit crushing them to mush. Without the option of abandoning ship and hoping that the rescue team makes it in time.

they had around 20minutes to get all the people in life boats and safely put them in the water (the wind was 15-20m per second)
