Nice little runner much better than the one I have bearing number 47500 which is very jerky in it's performance. Thought it was dirty track but that is clean! Any suggestions you might have would be welcome. Cheers- Great video!
Just had to double check the version of the Jinty chassis it is, same as my one! And if the track is clean, might be good to take a look at the wheels, might need to use something like a burnishing pen on it to remove any grime (example being the one I use in my loco maintenance video), other than that, maybe something has gotten caught up in the mechanism inside somehow. Hope that helps!
@@malcolmpayne754 The electrical pickup is through the bearings. Any non-conductive oil creeping in can cause patial insulation. The only way to deal with it is to partly disassemble and clean the inside of the bearings and axles.
I acctually can’t find this annoyingly … like anywhere Not on rails of Sheffield and the only ones I can find on eBay are the older GP models 😢 . It’s torture
I have found a few newer Jintys on eBay, though assuming that you mean one with LMS livery as can't see any new ones with that livery. Might be an option to get a new one in BR Black and do a body swap, or alternatively building one via spare parts from the Bachmann Spare site, but some pieces can be fiddly.
@@GosportRailworks I didn’t find one I ended up getting the Fowler 4f instead from eBay . The newer model as to get the detailed varients Chose it as a chrismtas gift for myself . And is staying away till December to be like chrismtas .
Ah fair enough, the Fowler 4F is also a very nice model and quite easy to maintain as well given the simple couplings on the wheels and simple mechanism!
Nice little loco James👍
Andrew🙂
Cheers very much Andrew, and it is a nice little loco!
That's a nice little Jinty.
It is a nice little engine! Cheers very much
