    I liked Redentore, Elizabeta, Novanto Trecalori. It seems like such a missed opportunity to create spaces for the residents to enjoy rather than tourists. By targeting tourists, they missed every target. The space between buildings would be awesome places for a food forest with respite zones from the urban jungle. Ironically, the space along the street was more welcoming seeming than the car-free spaces. I like your observations about what works & honesty about what doesn’t. I think the lack of people also makes it disappointing versus the street zone. Keep finding & sharing these gems in the neighborhoods!

      @@ItalyGuy ​ that's a social housing neighborhood made of buildings planned and built by the state for people with lower income following best urban planning practices; slums are made of illegal constructions without any urban planning or services, two completely different things
