It easily shows the girl is already 18 years ahead of Mani in terms of privilege. So, she should reduce comparing her life with the guests; instead, she can relate to it, but comparing is obviously not the go-sign.

Gen Zs are usually financially very well off, privileged, supplied with all sorts of support to grow up. That's not the case of Mani or any one who grew up in times of Mani. The millennials, Gen X, Gen Y, Baby boomers toiled so hard to learn things, getting education, fight caste hindrances etc. At times, Sameeha tries to behave like she's a very matured host yet her experience proportionate to her age shows up very often and proves that the kid has got a long way to grow (not in terms of hosting skills and asking great questions but in terms of understanding the society, politics, economy, people etc.)

A definite takeaway in each video nowadays. 1 request from my side there are lot of podcasts for interviewing popular star so you should do this for many unsung heros of our society. Even as a male who is comparatively privileged, we don't get to convince them easily for a job, relationship or marriage we like. And as a girl and Muslim, it might have been even tougher for you. But convincing parents to start a UA-cam channel and convincing them to marry someone outside of our caste/religion is not the same. Convincing parents to start a UA-cam channel and Manikandan struggling to earn a decent spot in Cinema for many, many years are not the same. It can't be equated. And you said, you wanna quit this space for hate comments? That's the hardest battles Gen Zs usually face? Well, that's just level 1 of life bro. The guests you host are older and wiser than you usually, it would be better if you can treat them as one and give them the space they deserve rather than trying to imprint "I also faced similar thing" now and then. No, you didn't. You faced a struggle but it is nowhere close to what your guests have endured.

I too had the same point, I didn’t watched the other interviews she took. But in this it amplified my respect for Manikandan the way he given her the space and at 11.59 to 12.10 he waiting for her to complete though he very much knows she having the eye contact with camera and not with him while saying her story. That shows how humble he is.
