why dont they have floorplans in Realtor or Zillow? You would think sellers actually want to sell their homes. gee.

There are often floorpans but they are downloaded through the MLS portals like Zillow or Redfin don't have access to those details. You can always ask your agent to send you the details! :)

LOL, 400-500 range is cheap to you? LOLOLOLOL No thanks. I just got offered a 6 figure salary for an IT position in Durham and that salary won't even qualify on the front end DTI for a mortgage in that range of prices... it'll be fun to tell them no because they pay too little to qualify to buy a house in the area.

Home prices are definitely higher than the pre-pandemic times but compared to surrounding towns like Chapel Hill or Raleigh, Durham is much more affordable so many people decide on it for the reason when they have a job around the greater Raleigh area!

I remember when $400-500k was the rich people in town, life is getting so unaffordable. I am in the same boat as you, how can people afford these prices if companies aren't offering $$$$??? I am not taking out a 50 year mortgage!

@@genericwatcher2439 It is definitely frustrating! Since the pandemic, the average American home is 54% more expensive. It is hard for sure but we definitely aren't alone in housing unaffordability in the triangle.
