Well said, Fitz. Maybe it's time for the B12 to walk away from a network who has no respect for anyone or anything. And as Disney is the owner of ESPN, maybe it's also time for parents to stop taking their family to any Disney owned activity. 🤔
I’ll never forget seeing Coach Corso in the football lockerroom mirror, combing his hair and saying how awesome Coach Snyder is; with every other word being an F-bomb! I was obviously really surprised, but also thought it was hilarious
I hope therapists and other mandated reporters that practice in the state where that happened, who love sports and saw that, reported it, because it needed to be. If it happened in Kansas, where I’m a practicing therapist, it would’ve already been reported. That was unacceptable.
College GameDay? Hmm, that show is still on? Seriously, I quit watching that mess back in 2012 when they incessantly pushed Manziel as the Heisman winner. Nope. Haven't watched one second since. Hearing this situation with Corso does not surprise me one bit. SMH
I've had a soft spot for Lee Corso ever since he (correctly) picked us to win the 2022 Big 12 Championship and put on the Willie the Wildcat head, while the rest of SECSPN were picking TCU and laughing at him. It really hurts to see how far he has declined even in the couple of years since...
The headgear selection is such an iconic part of Gameday, and those money grubbing SOBs will keep Corso around to put that thing on as long as they possibly can.
Ohio State, with Will Howard at the helm as quarterback, beat Texas. Yeah, it took him three times, but he came close in two of them as a Wild Cat. Go Will, and Go Buckeyes. As for Lee Corso? Great man, great coach and wonderful commentator on ESPN's Sports Day. Always anxious to see which Mascot's head he might put on, and totally thrilled when it was Willie. It's sad to see age and time overcome a beloved man. With all that said, ESPN has devolved into nothing more than another miserable extension of the "Woke Mouse". I've loved College Football since the 1969, with all the great rivalries, and traditions. Big Money and Disney has turned it into one huge pile of Bullsh*t. I've viewed the NFL as just another version of WWE, and now? We have a Collegiate version of WWE. Call me old fashioned, but I know what Shoe Shine is and I know what ... is.
Comparing Corso at this stage to a certain other elder in public eye is reasonable and accurate. It's a shame in both situations. And a group of people just laugh and excuse it.
He's not talking about the leprecon suit. If you had watched the college game day show, they had Corso dancing well trying to dance that Irish dance. I'm not sure what it's called, but Corso started falling backward. If it wasn't for the guy behind behind catching Corso, it could have been bad. Corso is beloved across the nation, but his age and that near fall. He probably should retire
@ Corso wanted to do it. Nobody is being abused. Good grief. He tripped over something, stop overreacting to every little thing. 🙄. And yes clearly he should retire.
Are you talking about SECday"…..they changed their name. I think I am done with their arrogance. SEC makes up 80% of the show and allot of other good stories in College Football are missed. Corso needs to retire with dignity not like this. Agree with you Fritz. Shame on you ESPN!
As long as they continue to draw ratings with him, they will put Corso on the screen. Fox NFL Sunday is doing the same thing with Terry Bradshaw. They are a big draw and are willing (??) to be the butt of the joke, so there they are.
