You forgot paying your bills
You don’t need to time travel though, sure it may be inconvenient but it works and it’s more rewarding doing things normally
Here are the steps!
Step 1: Time travel a month or more into the future (make sure it’s in the middle of the day around lunch time)
Step 2: Check around for villagers and most likely someone will want to move out
Step 3: If the villager you want to move, doesn’t want to move. Close the game without saving and time travel a day into the future, chances are the bubble would have transferred to a different villager!
Step 4: Repeat until the villager you want to move,moves!

Something to keep in mind:
A villager will never want to leave during the following; when someone is at the campsite, during events and during kk concerts! they will always ask to leave 11-4pm, its kinda rare to see it at other times but it can still happen!

@@keiratheturtle4676 if its 7 days before their birthday, no, but try talking to everyone except the one you want to leave and then skip 6 days in the future, if its not their day, just go back and then skip 6 days again and repeat the process until its the person you want to leave

I just got rid of my least favorite villager in 24 hours. I sent him a postcard that said please move you were lazy and nasty. This morning he informed me he was going to move out and I said yay. I had complained about him twice to Isabelle. He used to be verbally abusive and a drunk. After I first complained he became less abusive and I didn’t find him drunk on the beach anymore. But now he’s leaving and I am one happy Moonpie.

To summarize his instructions:
1. Time travel at least 1 month into the future, have the time of day on your switch set to the afternoon according to your time zone. They only appear either directly outside of their houses or directly outside the town hall with thought bubbles if they wish to leave your island.
2. After time traveling, if the villager you want to remove is inside of their home, or there is no one wishing to leave, close the game with or without saving and continue time traveling.
3. If a villager you don't want to remove wishes to leave, do NOT interact with them. You can close the game with or without saving and continue time traveling.

I'm 5 days in to try and get rid of Margie, but the thought bubble just simply avoids her. She's not the latest villager I got, that's Lolly. If it's really 10% chance for a specific villager, I sure have no luck

Spicychivas 7 middle of the day is 12 to 3 that’s when most ur villagers will be out
I have an extra tip for this method.
The thing is that maybe a villager can have the thought bubble but wont "activate it" or "show it" at first. If you trigger on them an emotion animation by saluting them or applauding when they look at you, they can enter the thought bubble state. If they react normally, it means they wont have the bubble on that day (but you can try resetting that same day).
I tried this and it definetely works, but if I didn't change the date the same 3 or 4 villagers would have the thought bubble, and only one of them would want to leave (the rest had quests or other stuff).
I don't know if I explained it right but I tried ok?
If anyone is wondering it is easier to just put fences around their house and add a river around the fences. They will have a thought bubble after time traveling/ waiting a day.
lmao with katt i blocked off his house with fences and cliffs and i time travel a ton so he had a thought bubble- so easy :) also with boomer i spoke to her one then never again, thought bubble. it’s so much easier then all this shit lol

if ur a bit hesitant about time traveling just travel forward and backwards between 2 days (example june 12 and 13) traveling forward is always, always considered as an ADDITIONAL, NEW DAY, even if it's the same date (like from 12th to 13th). after a couple of tries some villager will want to move out. i've had 3 villgars wanting to move out in the same week bc i was time traveling for redd

hey so is there any way that i can get new villagers to move?? i’ve been time traveling trying to get rid of lolly because i wanted sherb and she finally said she wanted to move, so then i decided to sell her and then once i had the empty plot i decided to time travel back to the present, but then i saw the plot was taken and i cried so hard. it was taken by spike.. i was so sad and i’ve been crying for hours and still can because i’ve been time traveling for hours and every villager wanted to move except for him. i also never time traveled.. i’m just not that kind of person. please if there’s any way to get rid of him i will be so happy. i was finally about to complete my dream villagers list. also when i talked to spike, he said he was from someone’s island that i traded with?? i never invited him! i’m so lost! please respond to this i have never been this upset

@@autisticlettuce i just buy what i need, nothing extra 😅 if you have extra materials, make the hot items in bulk and sell them (you should make decent bells.) you also dont have to upgrade your house right away, and unless you need the extra space, dont.

thanks so much man!I wish you the best since you are the only video to be so simple/clear/fast explanation without "taboo" about time traveling and super easy to remove a villager in only 20 minutes of gameplay without crazy theories and and items to give.
The only advice I can give to anybody using time traveling? is the same advice as the Doc give to Marty McFly at "Back to the future", do not go to the past and change it, use it only to fast forward and comeback to your current current timeline (do not go 1 month to the past, but is ok go for days) i was testing time travelling on my switch going to previous events i did not catch like the "easter egg bunny" and got corrupted save data because updates are different, just remember to use it to fast forward and comeback to the present day ok? enjoy the game at your own pase ♥ love you all

I'm trying to give stitches to my friend, and I did the same as you did in the video by doing it a month at a time and none of the villagers are getting a thought bubble, I was doing it for over an hour and got no results.
It has to be within 11am-4pm apparently. And can’t be on Saturdays (when Kk is there)

When you finally do all of this, would anything change going back in time to the regular day that you started at, aka the present day? It would just make me uncomfortable playing a long time ahead of what the day actually is. Would I have to stay on the day I ended up time traveling to?

So glad I found your video! So many people say it’s impossible to kick out the newest villager to move into your island but I guess you just disproved that 👌🏼
Heads up: Contrary to what was stated in the video, you can't kick out the last villager that was invited to your island. You need to invite someone new before you are able to kick them out.

Tried this in combination with talking to everyone except Tex, still couldn't get him to leave. So will be trying again after I fix my island between all the weeds and the inside of my house

I spent so much time trying to kick out buck. Papi and merengue wanted to leave first. I didn't play for 2 or 3 days, came back and found buck with a thought bubble and wanted to leave. I can't wait until he will leave so I can continue my hunt for lucky, Skye or Mitzi

I've been trying kick out mallary for the longest and her bubble only appeared one time and it was to sell some stuff. I heard people say you cant kick out the latest villager in your island. But the last villager I kicked out was the latest before mallary moved in. And all my other villagers that I want to stay keep getting the thought bubble.

I heard around a lot that you can’t kick out your most recent villager so I was about to kick out another that I really did like. It was really that I hadn’t even talked to him before! Your latest villager that moved in will never have the thought bubble. I tried kicking out my latest villager Agnes, talked to her multiple times and raised her friendship level but she never had the bubble after 3 days of trying the method for around 20sh hours total. Literally every single one of my other villagers had thought bubbles multiple times. It wasn’t until I moved out another villager and then decided to try the method again that I finally found her with a thought bubble.

Not true. You just have bad luck. My latest villager currently wants to move out. And back when I only had 5 villagers. The latest one was the first to want to move out.

I think you just have bad luck. I've been able to move out my most recent villager (and I have 10 villagers) and other people have managed too.

This method definitely works the best so far. What you should do is to take out a calendar, and make sure you aren't fast-forwarding on a KK Slider day or any major holidays. I was able to get thought-bubbles more consistently with this method than any other day-by-day method and you should be able to kick someone out within an hour. Thanks!

no if you time travel back after you already said to the villager to move out it takes one more day after you time travel back for them to be in the boxing stage i mean that’s what i did/happened to me because rocket moved out
I recommend you wait for them to completely move out, or else it might glitch. I got rid of sylvana with time travel, but when I came back her home was there saying “I’ve moved out.” I had to time travel to the next day, then back, and finally scored her plot of land. It’s risky to time travel back when they’re still technically moving out. Either way, I had someone move in today which was weird since it’s only been a day, but i guess it might’ve been the time traveling
question, i’ve reset mine n time travelled heaps and i have yet to have a villager want to leave i’ve now done it for 4 hours..
I don't know if i'm doing something wrong but iv'e time traveled 6 months ahead 1 month at a time and I haven't gotten a single person with a bubble
one time i got an amiibo from five below, it was from new leaf. i scanned it using my switch, and bam! kicked out a villlager... sadly it was Kyle and I loved him 😭

I time travel month to month all the time, and never once have I had any villager want to move out... I'm pretty sure this does not work as much as people seem to think it does, sure it's random, but there must be another factor at play here, why do none of mine ever want to move out...

So do you have to skip a year or month on an exact date. Like only if you see a thought bubble, you can skip and find someone wanting to move.
So I've been trying a very similar method (you go 15 days ahead - time travel before 5am, save, time travel to 1pm) and it works to transferr the bubble but the issue is my villager i want to move out just NEVER GETS THE BUBBLE
