This is not from the Diola people. This isn't the kind of drum Diola people even play. The dance is from the Ballanta people of Guinea-Bissau.

Hello Katherine. I usually trust the ensembles and believe that they're representing the dances in their country, but I trust less and less ...especially when I read some comments like yours.

Well, they're from Senegal and they are supposed to represent dances from Senegal. If you are from Senegal I guess you should know more than me. Unfortunately I haven't ever spoken with the artistic director of this ensemble for giving you more details.

This has nothing to do with the Zulu people. This danse is from the Ballanta people of Guinea-Bissau and this is their dance and rhythm.
