You could tell from the decor hauls you were getting at your other house, that your style was changing. Good for you! It's really a welcome change from the black and white farmhouse that kinda had it's run. This new style has depth, richness, and it's own personality of comfort. Your switch to this high end Santa Barbara styling is quite refreshing. Your choice of quiet cooler tones with hints of color with not a farmhouse sign in sight makes me smile. I'm with you about not having a rug under the dining table, I removed mine from under my kitchen table months ago...I love it so much better (not to mention it is easier for everyone to pull away and back into the table). As you know, Chris and I saw Santa Barbara last year on our Cali Coastal cruise, and you are right, it is absolutely gorgeous so I know your home will be so, so pretty. Again, I can't wait to see what you'll do. You have so many great ideas!! Love ya bunches gf! (oh I wear Inis perfume sometimes...such a nice scent)
The new house is coming together so nicely and so quickly. It looks great! I like the table in the kitchen without a carpet and the curtains add a great touch.

Everything looks beautiful Liz. I definitely would not add a rug under the dining table, the room looks larger without a rug. I'm so happy to see you using artwork again. For the last few years you've only used architectural pieces and signs. The art adds a lot.
