Just when you think the build's going really well comes Eaglemoss's bits that you won't notice are crappy because they're insignificant little parts that hide behind the chairs, such as the Christmas Tree and the Flux Capacitor...... Joe Walser who was being consulted on the build by the model makers, because it's his replica of the A car that this build is based on, told them that of all the parts that they had to get right, it was vitally important that they get the Flux Capacitor spot on. He was extremely disappointed when he saw what they did with the thing. Apparently Eaglemoss responded to a flurry of phone calls and emails from frenzied builders who weren't happy by stating to them that they couldn't afford to make it any better than what it is, yet they later supply the framework for the car in three large pieces. Had they broken the things up into smaller bits and extended the magazine's run to say 140 issues instead of 130, they probably could have afforded to supply a better FC and Christmas tree, but nope. We get crap instead. Personally I'll be fitting the Mad Geeks Collectibles Flux Capacitor on mine, even though it's a little bit smaller, it's still a thousand times better than the pathetic bits of plastic that Eaglemoss are giving us.
There are two groups that claim to be official, but Eaglemoss have nothing to do with them, and most people who join get banned at the drop of a hat by the megalomaniacal admin who's sole purpose is to get high on his power trips by banning as many people as he can in one go. The better groups to join on Facebook are the following: All with a majority of members who were banned from the "Official" groups. facebook.com/groups/257958427963325/?ref=br_rs facebook.com/groups/1846861738935553/?ref=br_rs facebook.com/groups/2064898100432856/?ref=br_rs
Steve Graham, there's nothing official about that group at all. It's a ruse by a power hungry admin to get lots of members so he can ban them in one of his many power rages.
I will have to remember to buy the mod flux capacitor and Christmas tree before I start building this issue.
10:44 you missed a perfect opportunity to say, " and that's what makes time travel possible".
