Love the video Runny-san! The curry looks great! You must really have patience and good knife skills to cut your veggies that fine! I have neither! My veggies are big and irregular! LOL

the correct "curry powder" is pretty hard to come by as every country has its own mixes, what ones do you recommend?

5:03 Those are nothing like the Monster Munch I know and love from the UK. They look more like Pom-Bears, which are basically that style of crisp but in the shape of a bear.
But, those Wasabi Beef crisps looked amazing!
Also, your English is sounding really good! 上手ですよ!

I live in Belgium and this pack looks exactly like the one we have. Maybe they have different strategies according to the markets.

Hi runnyrunny san! Recently I have been making something similar to this dry minded meat curry, my husband had bought an instant mix to make it from Japan and eventually I found out that I can make it at home too! It is great with some cheese and onsen egg on rice :9

This looks yummy! I agree, which brand of curry powder are you using? S&B? And, for everyday meals, do you use a medium grain rice (calrose), or do you use short grain rice?

yo runny, won't it take a long time for the liquid to evaporate if you simmer it while the lid is on? I mean, there's that tiny vent hole but still.
also, that trick with 4 chopsticks to break up the meat... priceless!
