I use MidiTrail for the visuals. The program allows you to load piano midis to give you this cool view! I also use FL Studio with a plugin called NES VST.
I love it for getting flung into the air on death. I love it because of its surprisingly funny appearance and Squishiness. I love it as a challenge on my 3-heart Vai Outfit attempts... I love watching it go after a lizalfos I disturbed into moving... Yeah
Oldschool Gamer you ARE right, but a if you read the compendium entry for it, you can see that other monsters are SCARED of Moldugas. It can easily kill lynels as they have no way of getting it out of the ground to kill it, and even if they did, Molduga will just go back in the ground after a few seconds.
Im pretty sure Nintendo actually made the Soundtrack to be mostly focused at the start and and the end,but mostly ambience and atmosphere for the rest of the song
GMONEYMOHAWK I think the most awesome ones are the ones with the old Zelda music slightly inlaid in the background, or it has just a tiny section of an older song to make it nostalgic, but not the same as before.
A wild molduga has appeared! Go Link! Link used remote bomb! The molduga was stunned! Ganon used Blood moon! It’s not very effective... Link used Remote Bomb! The molduga has been fainted! 50 XP and Silver Rupee!
*Molduking appeared!* Seriously this could have some pretty neat mechanics like it constantly using dig and when you hit it it stops being able to use dig for 1 turn and stuff
A wild Molduga appears! Link: Strength:34/50 Speed:23/40 Intelligence:45/56 Link uses Bomb! It's Super effective! Molduga has resurfaced! Link uses Shock arrow! It's a critical hit! It's super effective !
Honestly this is the most challenging enemy I've faced so far. Killed me once, and the surrounding Lizalfos infuriated me. But I don't consider a challenge to be bad in this game ;)
I really like your presentation! As a pianist, it really helps me visualize how the music was written. New sub for sure. Also, question: Are you open to people using your music as background in their videos as long as you are credited? And what software/plugins do you use to make your music? edit; I am a stupid, I just noticed you answered both of my questions in your description! In which case, I may use one of your tunes as background music in one of my videos in the future! Keep up the awesome work man, you're great!
I love how these really distill (for me, at least) the basics of music, and how the feel for a tune can be easily captured and recreated in a relatively simple style.
>standing out in the middle of nowhere with no elevated surface around and i'm a wuss >song begins nononononononononononononononononononononononononononononononononononononono
Honestly this is one of my favorite songs in the original game... And I actually really like the first phase too, I'm a sucker for low string notes from cello/contrabass. They sound so deep and satisfying. I love it, they're my favorite instruments.
This is actually really useful. I was going to try and make an arrangement of this for my viola trio, so having a basic layout for it saves me a lot of time trying to find the notes by ear.
When I fight a mulduga I just get a bow that shoots multiple arrows, a bunch of bomb arrows and stand on a ledge. As soon as I see that sucker pop up I pelt it with a hundred arrows until I see that nightmare inducing face die in a fiery pit of black smoke and blue fire.
I love that your BotW tracks have tens of thousands of views, but many of your older game remixes have less than 100. Your work is fantastic! Love this particular song & actually fight molduga just to hear it haha
To all the haters out there, Why do you even bother to dislike!?!? Loeder Works hard on this, If you don't like the theme, Talk to the director of Breath of the Wild! They were the ones that created the music! Loeder just made it 8-Bit!
Not really, when approaching one, just crouch-jump toward some rock platform in the sand. Climb on the platform and throw a bomb onto the sand. Molduga will notice the bomb and jump out right where it's lying. Detonate, slash away, then climb back up the rock platform and repeat until Molduga dies.
That's kind of how BOTW works and I love it. An enemy at first is really hard but you learn and develop a strategy, soon overcoming it and it becomes a lot easier.
Fight would have been amazingly better if you got a phase where you had to ride atop the Molduga with the upbeat music playing. Now that would feel amazing!
I noticed that in most of these 8 bit songs the snare part of the song is not covered by the visible graph. The part that plays in the "Background" the whole song
*A wild molduga appeared!* Mudkip, Go! *molduga used dig!* *Mudkip used watergun!* *the attack missed!* *molduga used dig!* *mudkip fainted!* *You have no more Pokémon to fight!* *Red blacked out!*
The 2nd phase starts around 1:20 , enjoy!
It starts at 1:24 . Totally accurate:)
Loeder is this an animation or an app just wondering
Loeder I'm also wondering about the software you use to make this..
I use MidiTrail for the visuals. The program allows you to load piano midis to give you this cool view! I also use FL Studio with a plugin called NES VST.
I LOVE this format, the visual, audio, all of it. Thanks a lot for the effort.
Everyone loves molduga
yup
+Just Random Guy and treasure.
I love it for getting flung into the air on death. I love it because of its surprisingly funny appearance and Squishiness. I love it as a challenge on my 3-heart Vai Outfit attempts... I love watching it go after a lizalfos I disturbed into moving... Yeah
Chronoboostboy Even though I like Molduga, I think its easy. Easy that Gannon or a lynal but tougher than a moblin.
Me: throws bomb
Molduga: "yummy"
*licks lips under sand*
This is some serious gourmet shit!
MMMMMMM YES THIS FOOD IS FOOD
K a b o o m
Oh no, link please, anything but the shock arrows and lynel bow!
Tremors is a great movie, but I don't know if japanese kids know that there is a whole movie that's basically a guide to fighting Molduga.
Outroller I employed the Burt Gummer method of fighting Molduga.
Well at least the molduga doesn't spawn shieking monsters or flying farting monsters as well that'd be funny
I just watched tremors for the first time. Not bad
Tremors?
*Link leads a molduga off the edge of a cliff*
"HAHHAHA CAN YOU FLY? CAN YOU FLY SUCKER?"
My Molduga fights never lasted long enough to enjoy the music.
Dark Link same
Dark Link
You gotta use weaker bows while riding a sand seal. ;)
i stand on a rock and bomb it then hit then run and stand on safty and bomb
Dark Link I just pause it and listen to the music.
Dark Link same but i atleast hear some of the second phase its good music its stuck in my head help
This sounds like a legendary pokemon theme.
Owen Park *A Wild Molduga Appears!*
Owen Park it does
Owen Park molduga appeared. Go! Wolf link!
Go! Satori!
What will Satori do?
Double Kick
Recover
Teleport
Take Down
I loved it how this whole miniboss felt like a Monster Hunter fight.
Like a Cephalos/Jhen Mohran/Nibelsnarf mix.
i hate cephalos.
Jackie Wilson Definitely felt nibelsnarf
Have you heard the noises it makes when you hit it? Certainly Nibelsnarf.
Jackie Wilson are fights in monster Hunter this easy?
or a flying tentacle monster that is the size of an island.
this is awesome, the new zelda's music is more atmospheric but it still has alot of catchy tunes that stick with you.
Im pretty sure Nintendo actually made the Soundtrack to be mostly focused at the start and and the end,but mostly ambience and atmosphere for the rest of the song
yeah i agree playing the game you don't really notice it because it fits so well due to that.
GMONEYMOHAWK I think the most awesome ones are the ones with the old Zelda music slightly inlaid in the background, or it has just a tiny section of an older song to make it nostalgic, but not the same as before.
I agree I enjoy botw's battle music more than others
It has just as many bangers, they’re just heard a lot less because there’s a bigger world
this sounds like something straight out of one of the game boy zeldas
ReddehWow. there was Oracle of seasons, Oracle of ages, and links awaking
TDV yeah I meant all of them
Oh how could you forget about minish cap
I think that's the point
@@jedimindglitch89 I think he was making the point that it sounded absolutely exactly like a gameboy theme, not only wannabe 8-bit

This is probably my favorite song in the game, and I'm surprised it works so well in 8-bit.
My favorite song:

Missed the joke
@@bubbah848 Yeah you completely missed the joke. Also it’s *Darude* not *Garude*
Well, you see, i got the joke. However I wanted make my own spin on it with a play on words combining garudo and darude.
@@bubbah848 innit, as in gerudo, and the fact that there are sandstorms in garudo desert and stuff like that
Honestly this is the most challenging enemy I've faced so far. Killed me once, and the surrounding Lizalfos infuriated me. But I don't consider a challenge to be bad in this game ;)
Moldugas are easy to beat with a good bow and some bomb arrows. Lynels However are the mosnters I don't dare to challenge until I'm very end game
The game isn't challenging for me anymore :c
I really like your presentation! As a pianist, it really helps me visualize how the music was written. New sub for sure.

I like how the Moldugas capture the feel of older Zelda Bosses

And now, six years later, we have the totk gloom hands theme... The most terrifying monster
1:24 is that moment of "NOW TAKE THE SHOT"
Do you think molgera from windwaker is the last molduga in hyrule ( adult timeline at least)

This is one of my favourite soundtracks in the game. Thank you for the 8-BIT-Version
I’ve even tricked one into eating an Electric Lizalfos.
One time I saw a "sleeping" lizalfos when the beat dropped while he was having a seizure going up and down really really fast
The adrenaline that you get on your first Molduga battle. Even better if you have no idea that they exist to begin with.
I was playing TOtK yesterday, accidentally triggered the Molduga. Noped out faster than Guardians could one shot you
actually i'm pretty glad you did that with the NES limitations in mind. kudos.
If Nintendo ever releases the 8-bit prototype for botw, I want them to use this music.
This gives me Oracle Game Vibes
I love that your BotW tracks have tens of thousands of views, but many of your older game remixes have less than 100. Your work is fantastic! Love this particular song & actually fight molduga just to hear it haha
*cut to me, frantically trying to figure out how to install a VST*
The Gerardo desert May be a barren wasteland of death, malnutrition, and dehydration, but MAN does it have some sick beats!
the weird thing about this is that the 2nd faze sounds like the molduga is actually singing it with its high pitched voice. 1:30
me: sees molduga
also me: dont i have a side quest about that
also me: scary. I camp you out from high ground now.

Something about listening to Molduga's theme in 8-bit... its just........so satisfying....
I would totally play this entire game with ur 8 bit music playing
The first 15 seconds of the second are absolutely beautiful
I never realized that they had a second phase, i was always too busy blasting them with shock arrows from a 5 shot bow
I really like that you mixed them together! I want someone to do that with the actual songs!
Nice job! Really love it when the second phase kicks in
This is amazing I can’t believe someone took the time to make this
you always manage to find chiptune instruments with the perfect tambre! you're amazing!
The zelda series uses mold a lot with moldorm and molduga
I just like the second phase is something really satisfying about it
This music is one of my favourite of the game. You feel so powerful when you press L during the battle.
This is so amazing. One of my fave songs of BOTW!
second phase starts when im in desert
Me: G A M E R M O D E
This sounds so Zelda 2 and I love it bb
Nice job, thanks for sharing! Definitely the best battle theme in the game, the Moldugas are pushovers though.
Jimmy Rustle only if you have bomb arrows tbh, otherwise they can catch you off-guard with their charge

I feel bad for mulduga when I hit it and it makes that screech noise
The guy who made this should really get more subs he is very very good and he worked really really hard on us
The second phase comes out sounding like a Megaman Battle Network song and it's fantastic
2nd phase reminds me of the oracle games
I kept expecting someone to start whispering "Dead beats, lurking now" at the beginning, lol
Great cover! Some parts remind me of Ninja Gaiden.
Cool song man not bad i like
THANK YOU LORDER FOR THIS MUSIC THIS IS THE BEST 8BIT MUSIC FOR ME
One of my favourite battle themes from BotW, and why is this just so mesmerising to watch? xD
Holy crap. I love some 8-bit remixes, but this is incredible.
i love second phase
Some serious Molgera vibe here...
*molduga music starts playing*
Me, walking through the desert without sand boots(not recommended): OH-
Every time i'd kill a molduga, i'd shout 'Cat pawss!' then theres that thump of its dead body falling to the ground.
This guy......great job on the theme
That transition made me spew all over
My first molduga fight was the most terrifying thing in the whole game.
It took me 30 seconds to realize this wasn't only phase 2
At 1:45 it sounds like a Pokémon battle soundtrack :'D love your work btw
at 0:44 I half expected it to turn into crazy train. been watching too much siivagunner
Okay, guys, _why the Hell is Molduga's theme so fucking lit._
am I the only one who hears these 8-bit zelda mixes and try to imagine how they would look and play out as the gameboy or GBC games?
Fight would have been amazingly better if you got a phase where you had to ride atop the Molduga with the upbeat music playing. Now that would feel amazing!
I noticed that in most of these 8 bit songs the snare part of the song is not covered by the visible graph. The part that plays in the "Background" the whole song
