      Please do a video on international airlines. I'm planning a trip to japan in a few years. I'm wondering if Singapore airlines has a good credit card for a sign up bonus. And I'm wondering if that aeroplane card is good or not

    Not sure why you would recommend the SW Plus when the SW Priority is basically a keeper with the SW credit and points they give you annually. Your net cost to hold the Plus is higher and you have less perks too

    I USED to be a die-hard Southwest fan, but my last flight made me never wanna fly with them again. They changed my flight at the LITERAL last minute. I was sitting, waiting at my gate, when all of a sudden, on the loud speaker I hear "Danny, you have 1 minute to get to this new gate otherwise, we're gonna leave without you"... I sprinted across the airport, made it barely in time, and had an asthma attack while sweating profusely throughout my flight.

    Before I knew anything about airline credit cards, I thought that their “miles” system translated to actual flight miles. For example, a bonus opportunity of 50,000 miles would allow me to travel 50,000 miles for free lol I feel like it was intentional on their part to get people to get their credit cards. Especially when the flight attendants announce “you are eligible for 50,000 free miles with this flight if you get our card”

    This might be a stupid question but can you still use the points and rewards to fly other airlines if you have a different airline card. I was thinking about getting an airline credit card. But wasn't sure what the best one. For the first time ever K flew jet blue recently really like the flight. I normally fly south western and spirt. You can really see the difference in flight experiences.

      Jet blue is my favorite, a more luxury experience vs southwest and spirit. I believe JetBlue recently bought spirit airlines which means they will be expanding their hubs so their credit card is looking really good to me

      Unfortunately, no. Program loyalty is the biggest caveat to the travel credit card game to where you’re better off getting an entry level travel card like the chase sapphire preferred/AMEX gold/etc if you don’t want to fly with only one specific airline.

    I agree with Trent Jones! I use the card he mentions and by the end of the year, I qualify for a companion to fly for free all of the next year. It is an amazing benefit if you fly a lot. My husband and I have flown 1 - 2 times every month so the savings is substantial for us.

    • @marksantucci4230
      @marksantucci4230 2 роки тому

      whatever you need for any chase card. it's not about the score it's about your credit your , payment history income!
      you could be Janitor work for 25 years have money in money market mutal funds and be granted a card you could also be a vice president
      not get paid very well not pay your minimum 1/2 the times and get rejected.
      you could also be a vice president travel alot get paid very well and you can get the card. you could also have a low paying job and not meet
      minimum payments and not get the card. I would get so wrapped up about the score I would more worry about the credit history.

To use United i have to go to the farther airport but they have more destinations so i kind of covered both avenues but because of COVID southwest was the perfect airline because 97% of people weren’t flying internationally during that time
