@@kobura6316 Right?? While we're on the subject - how do you think up a marshmallow? Who thought "gee whiz, I wish sugar came in small white cylindrical latex foam!" I only had issues with marshmallows one time when I was 16; they felt like they were expanding as they went down my esophagus. Now that I think about it, that was probably less of a marshmallow issue and more of an LSD issue,.. Either way, I am impressed by the S'more analogy. Many layers, many textures, simple to make yet a lifelong pursuit to master.

I admit nothing...last night was the first i heard the album, wondered if it was as good as i thought because it was late, and the wine bottle consumed to emptiness, and was about to check it again but thought I'd see if it actually had any cohesion when done live, as rap often loses power from studio to live experience as is, imho, and this was one of the stranger progressions and combinations of hip hop I've come across, but to sound good live was surprise enough, but shake the emotions while still waking drinking coffee, well if it happened that was something much more unexpected. Simple human thoughts and moments captured and redisplayed beautifully. Besides my own experiences doing laundry, i am reminded of andre 3000 of outkast telling rick rubin how he sometimes takes his laundry to a laundry mat for the experience to feel human, as he misses basically the same sorta things, that i hear in what she sings about here, how often money not only insulate but can isolate us from life and the world, and i felt that in the music, as i felt that when i was younger and moved outta the crowded dorms of college life into a nice apartment with a washer and dryer, and with the ease and safety came less interruptions, but also less adventures, no more random meetings, and no more need to leave my dwelling, for not just laundry, but a beautiful place to go with friends to do the things that would cause a dorm RA or security to come knocking on our door with threats of expulsion. All apologies for my rambling as i spill out, but music is amazing

Meh... it's not terrible. But it's also not great. Lyrically Aesop is untouchable, and though Kimya's lyrics are intelligent and thoughtful, her voice is so flat and blatantly off key that I just can't jump on board with this. I appreciate what they're doing here... but I'd much rather her just be cut out entirely and Aesop use his lyrics here for a solo album.
