Sunghoon left his 10 years figure skating career to become an idol after going to a BTS concert! and he said on I-land that he wanted to prove to his parents that his decision was right and he did! he debuted as a member of Enhypen! at the finale of I-land, his parents told him that he already proved himself and he cried a lot! im so proud of sunghoon!
Sunghoon was actually competing internationally representing Korea and won several competitions in the process before finally deciding to train as an idol.

I can't remember how I react when I see that sunghoon on ice when I first saw it after clicking the link on Wikipedia. But I'm quite sure I was crying at that time 😂😂
Sunghoon actually ranked 7th among male figure skaters in Korea. He's THAT amazing 😊

Sunghoon had bad eye sight due to 'Amblyopia' and had to go under 12hr long surgery. He was afraid to open up with people and became more introvert. So his mother suggested him to join sports and after seeing Kim Yuna he joined Ice skating and instantly fell in love. He started becoming more open and found himself back. His mom supported him so much, that journey is so inspirational.
He then saw bts concert and wanted to try being an idol so he became trainee at bighit. He managed idol training, school and skating all and was competiting till last Dec. His parents were not that happy at first coz he was risking his established career so he wanted to prove them his talent as an idol. Now they are really proud of him😭😭
Fun fact Sunghoon ranked 7 out of all national figure skaters in South Korea 💕
You guys are like one of the first reaction channel that actually properly focused on our ice prince 😭 as a sunghoon bias I’m very thankful 🙌🏼 please do react to other videos of him because this young boy not only is an amazing figure skater but he also has outstanding dance/vocal skills and a personality to fall in love with 🧡 he’s calm and collected yet hyper 😂😂

I'm a hardcore figure skating fan and got into K-pop this year. So when I found out there was a figure skater in a survival show I had no other option but to stan. He's been competing till late February this year. And 10 months later he's and idol who skated(roller blades but still) at MAMA

Sunghoon is a very good ice skater he has won a lot of medals representing Korea, I LOVE HIM HE IS MY BIAS.
Sunghoon still competes internationally even though he is a trainee of BIghit already..he trained in BH for 2yrs before Iland..he was inspired to take the idol route aftr watching BTS..He is a professional figure skater..but gave it up to pursue being an idol..
Watching you fall on love with sunghoon was literally me when I discovered in the first episode of iland that he was an ice skater 💕

This was my very first time stanning a group pre-debut. I am so proud of what they have accomplished in such a short time. I-LAND was nuts, such an addictive show and the way they progressed was impressive. Loved your reaction. It was like my family ("please don't let him be younger than me")

Sunghoon is actually the rank 7 national athlete in the male division of south korea's figure skating athletes. He got a level 8 certificate last year while being a trainee at bighit.
You might fall inlove more wiith sunghoon when you watch ENNYPEN performance at MAMA 2020 he did skating too for their intro.
We actually did watch his skating intro for that performance in this video! It starts at 21:37 ^_^
Ya'll should definitely watch I-Land (where all the clips and performances are from) if you have the chance! You really get to know the boys a lot and see them grow

You girls should watch the I-Land performances! They are all on youtube. My favorite is the "Chamber 5" performance form I-Land, and Enhypen actually did their own dance practice of "Chamber 5" Halloween version that is really cute.

I personally love Ice and figure skating! So this is right up my alley! I love this group and have followed them from I land days. Watch their iland Flicker performance and then the Enhypen one. Chamber 5 is also such a good song! Their debut album is good! They don’t even look like rookies! They are also very funny! Army /multifmadom 💜

I missed your live but I watched it and I just wanted to lyk that Jackson from Got7 is from a family of professional Athletes (olympic level) and he was supposed to be in the Olympics for fencing right before he became an idol. Him and Sunghoon are the only ones I know of like this though :)

Actually Jake is Half korean but his nationality is Australian he was born and raised in australia and came to korea in 2019 for the auditions then he participated in I-land
When jay first met jake he said jake wasnt good in speaking korean but unexpectedly he improved in less than a year.

ahaha so I only got into Enhypen at all bc of Sunghoon's figure skating, but seeing you get taken by surprise with it makes me a little jealous to have missed that experience 😆
