11 - FORSRÄNNING (RIVER RAFTING)
Yngve and his friends have been pioneers of river rafting in Sweden since the 1970s. They developed techniques for navigating challenging rapids, laying the foundation for rafting as an activity in Northern Europe. Their expeditions, often spanning 150-200 kilometers through rapids and wild nature, were about adventure, teamwork, and enjoying the grandeur of the mountains.
Today, river rafting is a key part of ICEHOTELs summer activities, allowing guests to experience the spectacular Torne River - the same river that inspired Yngve, and the same river that is used to build the ICEHOTEL.
