Yeah the box was huge I haven't talked to Reebok about the stuff missing this is the third video I watch and no one seem to have certificate either
Yeah and if you go to the reeboks product page, there is a review there saying the certificate and guide didn't come with the box

Aliens is one of my favorite movies. Used to draw aliens and protoss all the time as a kid. If I was younger I would have copped these for sure 👍🦖
Did you grow up playing alien vs predator? I love that game haha. I have watched Alien and AlienS (sequel) before but I am planning on watching them again while wearing these shoes lol

Really enjoy your content bro. These were DOPE! Love all the extra details and references to the movie. The only pair of Reebok's I've owned were the Iverson Answer 2s back in Jr High. Some of my favorite shoes that I have ever worn.
Answer 2s are dope and underrated. It's got that dmx tech inside 🔥🔥 people like answer ivs and question but IMHO those were not very comfy.

While I was doing the research for this shoe, I found out that the version Ripley wore was a high top (and it's literally like 2 feet high 😂😂). This is the Lance Bishops version so that's what makes this kinda odd. This shoe wasn't in the original movie from 79 but this is the 40th anniversary edition release of the original movie from 79 lol. Reebok is just trying to milk this shoe lol

These seriously look like something that would belong to a museum haha. Reebok really nailed the vintage effects. Also the materials are really nice. Kinda pricey but I would say it's worth the price tag!

When I was growing up, Alien wasnt a movie I could watch (due to its rating). I saw it way after. But I can definitely the cult following behind it and the significance of this shoe (AND they look super dope too lol)

These look so good in hand. Very good quality leather and they really nailed the vintage look. Price is kinda steep but I would say they really did a great job with the shoe itself and extra stuff they threw in.

Box definitely added a lot to the overall appeal of the shoes! I have seen the movie(s) before but I didn't remember all of the details. I did some research and I can tell why hard-core movie fans would love all the extra accessories that were added in this special edition model haha

I remember having my notifications on social media but Reebok didnt promote squat on release. Got lucky by having a size 11 left in stock on their website.
Same here on this release Fam. Also if I recall correctly, they were half a day later than the originally planned release date. I was waiting up late but they didn't drop until the following morning at some random time.
@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV I was at work in the morning and based on twitter reaction they were already up the previous midnight lmao I kept refreshing until 11 appeared in stock. I assumed they were in carts but released by undecided buyers . I have yet to take them out of the box but Dope vid man !

those have a very 90s look. i wouldve just guessed it was something you found in a thrift shop. the materials seem like the right mix to hold the old look, but still be nice by today's standards
Very close! I think these were made in 86 for the movie and released in 87. In my opinion it has a bit of Jordan 2 look to them (without the strap). Thanks for watching Fam 🙏🙏

I also like the fact that these don't fit narrow haha. Most Nike shoes with straps don't fit me right. I can't strap down the strap 😂
Excellent review and tutorial. Are these uncomfortable for actually wearing out on the town? I grew up in the golden age of Reebok and Nike. These take me back and I was pondering getting a 2019 pair off Ebay. But I'd be wanting to actually wear them as going out shoes... you know, so it will aggravate the wife and all since she thinks they are fugly. It definitely is a love or a hate type of shoe lol. I personally love them. I am not a leather expert but the material quality seems really good too. None of that synthetic vinyl like "leather" Nike uses. Thank you for watching Fam 🙏🙏

I actually am not sure if these would go well with shorts. The reason is these come with that pre vintaged look and altho it's labeled as a mid top it's does come up quite high like Air force 1 mid tops. If I were to rock these with shorts, I would go with longer denim shorts with good fade to them or like a vintage grey denim shorts. Hope this helps! I mostly rock mine with H&M skinny cut jeans or grey slim tapered joggers.

I covered it very briefly in the video but they do run slightly big but I would say true to size. They also don't come narrow (which was awesome for me since I have wide feet). Hope this helps 🙏🙏

Thank you bro 🙏🙏 see how 9.5 fits you. As I mentioned I have pretty wide feet so it's quite hard for me to size down on any shoes. I went true to my size on this one and everything fit perfectly except I had some space in the front.

I do not have much knowledge about the value of the originals but I am pretty sure they are worth a lot if they are the originals.

Yeah even just the fact that the alien stompers seem to re-release every few years or so tells me that these shoes are timeless and are in demand. The originals should definitely be worth quite a lot. I just haven't seen enough listings or comparative to know the actual monetary value though

I would say true size. They definitely fit me true to size.
How is it? I think midstrap dont really help to tight the shoe..one piece bootie? Dope classics..reebok coming back? Box looks toblerone haha
For me with wide feet, I didnt really need the strap to fasten the shoe 😂😂 there is an elastic band inside that looks like it would keep the shoe in place tho.
I just got mine today but the box was crushed, shoes are intact atleast

I would say no because they already come pre vintaged. I have been wearing them for a few times now and the uppers look the same as the day I got them except for some creasing in the toe box
