thank you! im a very nervous, shy, introverted person who's never had anyone to talk to about my field of study in my entire life. i hope i come across as confident in my interview.
I am sure that you can! Just practise speaking about your subject- it doesn't matter to whom! A teacher/friend/your phone, etc. You can do this - good luck!
I had my Oxford interviews with my first college last week, and I ended quite a few of my answers in sort of bland way. I re3cently recieved an offer for a second college interview tommorow, so I''m really hoping I'll be able to remember to finalize my answers and end confidently. 😭
@@scarlettm5650 Good luck! Remember, while the tip about ending strong is still helpful advice, it’s just the cherry on the cake. Don’t worry if you feel you didn’t give a perfect ending-the most important thing is that you engage with the content.
No don't worry- that's not how it works. There is only one round of interviews (the only exception to this is if you get pooled, but this is quite rare.) Good luck for the interview! ✨
any advice on what someone can do if they can’t find any information about the interview structure online? I applied to a relatively small cambridge college and can’t even find anyone who took my course there to ask
@@farahmalhas7523 Hi! Don't stress too much about not knowing the exact interview structure- it's not a deal breaker. If you've been offered an interview, they'll have given you the times, you'll know whether you have one or multiple interviews. While knowing the structure can help ease nerves, it won't have a major impact on your performance. Remember, everyone applying to that college will be in the same boat if no information is provided. The key is to focus on preparing broadly: practise discussing your subject and thinking aloud etc. The tips in this video will prepare you for any format the interviews might take. You've got this!
My Cambridge interview is 24 hours away and I'm so glad I watched this! I find this video genuinely helpful and will recommend this to my friends.
@@zhangyilu This is such high praise: thank you very much and good luck! 🙏
Did you get in?

Did ur friend get in, the one who was honest about the reading?
He got into Oxford! However, I still would recommend doing all the reading you've said you've done!
