@@plutosbleach Hey! That's so fun- I didn't even know it was a G.C.S.E.! You'd defo love this course then (it's called CS6 if you wanna do some more research.)

@@plutosbleach And no, I have never done any courses at the language centre, but everyone speaks really highly of it! Personally, the degree is so full-on that I didn't have time to do a course alongside academics & cheerleading, but they are meant to be great! ✨

I am just writing my Cambridge application form and I was thinking that I should write something to strengthen my application, because I could talk more about my chosen subject. But I am unsure how to do it correctly. Is it okay if I dm you asking for more specific advise?

I am thinking of doing an entire video in this, but the key is to consume as much comprehensible media as possible! This might mean T.V./series or children's books- it depends on your level in the language!

Would be good. The hard thing is the grammar right? I.e. you will keep being exposed to new grammar and you're just gonna keep confusing yourself. Or what do you think?

@@daalhead1098 I am not sure what you mean - could you clarify? Overall, I would recommend finding a language-learning routine which you genuinely enjoy and can easily implement into your routine. Having a sustainable routine means that you will be able to continue studying a bit everyday even when you aren't feeling motivated. A mix of grammar and T.V. would be good!

hiya! yes I agree! my reasoning: considering it was such a short-format video, I thought that I should probably be absolute in my points because I did not want to cause confusion! As you said, I did not want people wasting half of the P.S. talking about how they are a great swimmer when they're applying for something completely unrelated!

Well done- great work! What was the poster about? In my year the theme was 'green', so it was so vague and there were entries from a massive range of subjects!

Andrew isn't on the admissions team - you'll need to email St John's and see how they view alternative qualifications. Id be surprised if it wasn't accepted at least one college

I’d suggest you learn to express yourself in formal written English. Sadly it appears that your English is not strong enough to apply for a British university.

Hiya! I am a home student, so I am not to sure about how to answer this, but I will do my best. From what I have heard from friends, Cambridge is pretty good at understanding alternative qualifications: I have lots of friends who did the IB, for example. Beyond that, I know that the university facilitates online interviews etc, so that should not be a problem, but there is more information on applying here: www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/international-students/international-applications. I am sorry to not have been of much help!
