Hello Dan Csokmei Drummer ! Thank you for all this explanations :) I have a question though. If I put the metronome, I feel that the tempo is moving a lot during the whole song, is it true ? if yes do you know the different tempos ? Thks !
Hi Thomas. Yes I think they slow down between the sections. It is true, if you think this is another musical tool. So I would practice along the original song and try to follow that. The principle is when the "energy goes down, the tempo slows down as well, and when the chorus fully starts the tempo will be faster. thanks for the question :)
@@Daniel19800616 Yeah I did. It's an amazing sounding drum track. I put i into Ableton and made a triplet grid and matched the tempo and it looks like an eight note off-beat to me.. have a look here: www.dropbox.com/s/iz881dye28347jc/Killing%20in%20the%20name%20drumwaveform.png?dl=0 All the best Mikas

9.55 I think the hihat should be on the offbeat, not the 16th :) But thanks for doing the transcription and tutorial. Great song to rock out to:)
I've listened the original isolated drum track, and I think the hihat is on the "e" of two. Check it out, It is on youtube. :)
