How strong is the shackle on your padlocks? Is it harder to cut through than normal "hardened" padlocks?

It is boron hardened steel & uncuttable especially due to shrouded shackle.

i have the same quest. i have abloy regular 342, is it upgradable to protec/protec2?

Yes, it is. I bought 342 with protec2 already installed in.

Mechanism have a spring. its not good for allweather usage.corrosion will destroyed spring.
Prefer classic abloy.=(((
