I have no idea what you guys are talking bout, I played Bleach Soul Resurrección, it was fire, terrible retelling of the story tho
To give some context, Tamsoft (the devs) were not the core developer behind Melty Blood: Type Lumina. They simply did additional work on the game, which is very normal in the industry and still a good sign because they're not new to the space of anime game development and game development in general. They have quite a bit of history outside of just Senran Kagura but their most recent work was on the Captain Tsubasa game, which looked & played great and is another good sign that Tamsoft know what they're doing. When it comes to the scope, the story is going to go from Substitute Soul Reaper - Arrancar arc (no confirmation on how much of that arc it'll cover). To put that decision in perspective, the last console Bleach game to come out released before TYBW had even started in the manga, in 2011 (TYBW first started in 2012). It's understandable that for the first real full budget console title Bleach has had in over a decade, there would be a lack of confidence in whether that full storyline can be or should be adapted in one game, especially seeing as TYBW is not done airing yet. Bleach is vast with a lot of characters and abilities, so I'm actually glad that Tamsoft chose to reign in the scope of their work on this project as I think the results of that decision speak for themselves based on what we've seen. For gameplay, obviously we haven't seen much, but from everything that has been shared and discussed so far, the developers are really focused on "One-Shot" action and reversals. Everything past this point is speculation but the "Soul Destruction" level attacks are likely specials that you'll gain access to as the fight goes on to do significantly high amounts of damage and I wouldn't be surprised to see possible Instant-Kills with Bankai based on the way they've been talking about their philosophy for the game. Seems like it'll be a kusoge (high-damage, slightly broken) and I'm here for it lol. Hope this helps 🙏🏿

I keep seeing people getting upset and worried about it ending with the Arranca Arc, but I agree with you that it's a good thing that they are only focusing on roughly the first half of the story(especially since TTYBW will need a lot of work done to do it justice with how crazy it gets).
I think the Fullbring Arc is the perfect place to start a Sequel, since Ichigo gets Temporarily Reset, which means it makes sense as to why the player would need to build him back up again throughout the story.
If the Fullbring Arc was part of the first game, then for a few hours(if it's a Kakarot style story where it covers nearly everything the Fullbring Arc would need to be at least 5 hours)of the game they'd just be stripping you of all the power you've accumulated throughout it, and it'd probably make people drop the game.
Oh man, they worked on the Captain Tsubasa game?? Dude, if they're the reason that game had fun gameplay and perfect graphics, which was literally the only saving grace of that game, I think that's huge. I'M SO PISSED at how that game was handled, because it had so much potential to be THE anime sports game because of the gameplay, and you could feel the passion behind the art, but it just felt like the lead company completely fucking dropped the ball and ruined it.
It seems like a game that should be $29.99. Don't get me wrong I'm excited as hell, but it doesn't seem there's much meat to it

Yeah alot think it will be better with that too but for me personally I want the characters to feel more unique like different classes or like granblue relink , there will be outfits and weapons for them btw from what i saw in the news and betas, it's just that the dev wanted people to play with the characters to make them feel more special like they're playing in the anime more than a normal game, if u really like the show and the characters you would mostly prefer it being this way, you can still feel different than other people playing same characters by grinding for op stuff and getting outfits i think so i don't see having no character creation ruining the game, having any sort of customization would be nice tho, besides that part..gameplay probably the most fun in all anime games I've ever played, it seems like a game that can have some really good boss mechanics and raids and it's visually just perfect (sry iam an sao fan so i got carried away a little bit lol)
3 anime games I'm really hyped for, especially considering SAO and Bleach are tied for my fav anime. Outside of anime games? Sonic x Shadow Generations and Monster Hunter Wilds are bound to be good too.

Also This game could more than likely go up to either the Arrancar Arc (Since we see Ichigo's Hollow Mask) or The White Invasion (Considering Urahara's Technique in the Trailer wasn't used until toward the end of the White Invasion). They'll Save the FullBringer Arc and Thousand Year Blood War for either DLC or a second game.
It is confirmed that it just covers The Substitute Sould Reaper Arc through the Arrancar Arc(I assume ending with the final Aizen fight), which I'm perfectly fine with because it means they can focus on quality instead of trying to cram it all into a single game.

Don't kill him, just go back on the jar to get the secret all black midnight armor! You get the shield in other catacombs. Cheers

Tamsoft only made the PC port of Melty Blood, so I woldn't really judge them based on that. They didn't show enough gameplay so I'm still sceptical but I'm happy for Bleach fans.
They did the Senran Kagura games so I'm not too worried, love those

Someone else mentioned they helped on developing the Captain Tsubasa game, which overall was a massive flop, but the inside elements were there. You could literally feel how the innards of the game were full of passion with the gameplay, the art, and even the story, it was all very true to the anime, but everything else surrounding it was complete trash, especially the online which was possibly my worst experience ever. The lead company essentially threw that game in a trash can and lit it on fire for no good reason. It had so much potential.

Afro tamsoft did not fully develop melty blood, it was mainly french bread on that, tamsoft are mostly known for senran kagura games which are arena fighters so it makes sense.
