Thanks for reacting to this awesome track! Twelve Foot Ninja is an amazingly talented and entertaining band and provided me the path to discovering Jinjer. Just saw Jinjer live in August and Tatiana was electric on stage - as were Eugene, Vlad, and Roman. Wish I could've seen Jinjer and TFN live together. You need to check out TFNs work - especially their videos. They put so much work into their craft and I put them right alongside Jinjer in terms of their music's complexity and shear talent!!!
Regarding the meaning at the end, Tatiana is telling him that he's crazy in Aussie slang translated oddly in Russian (probably for humour). E.g. "a kangaroo loose in the top paddock" would be the regular way of saying "You have kangaroo loose in brain paddock". I think there is probably a bunch of nuanced imagery in this video I don't get, but my take away from it is that it is about a guy that has fallen into insanity when contemplating his own mortality. TFN are awesome and I love Over and Out, but it is actually about as straight a song as TFN has. I'd describe them as somewhere between Jinjer and Mr Bungle in style (lots of genre hopping). For more of their Aussie humour check out the video for One Hand Killing.
The impressive thing about the ending is that there are so many equivalent phrases in both Russian and Australian that mean "you are crazy," and/or "you are stupid."
Such a massive song. Check out 'Start the Fire' by TFN.You'll find their videos always include an 'Aussie humor' element that clears the audio palette to prepare the listener for the musical brilliance to come. Great analysis of this video - kind of like analyzing your own dreams - which if I ever figured out their meaning - my head would probably explode too!
Basically, dreams are strange, weird, fucked up & are not always meant to be understood. Don't try chasing the meaning of it all, as it will do your head in! 😊
Here are some "WTF is that" funny music videos that you might like as well (no, they're not Tati, so they're obviously not as awesome as they could be, but they'll melt your brain). Clowncore - Earth Black Midi - John L and for less "whack", but great fun: Windrose - Diggy, Diggy Hole Alestorm - Drink GLORYHAMMER - Hootsforce
Guys I love you but you pronounce her last name incorrectly. You should listen it out how Ukrainian or Russian people pronounce it. Or even the Google translate.
They are indeed Aussie. The two bands toured together a few years ago. That's how they met.
I want an Ask Tatiana machine. I have so many questions.
Maybe we will try to interview Tatiana on our channel :)
@@enterthecronicI know that she has given interviews, good luck, I will be looking forward to it.

What a shame they have parted ways with their singer short after this release.
