Qjality work as usual, Allen. I don't knkw what you meant by "I did not notice this". You've got some brass ones: standind onthat dimly lit platform in the cold.
Thanks, Hans! You can also try the Rochester Subdivision (between Syracuse & Buffalo), most of the trains are the same. This is a very active and busy rail line so it is always an exciting place to be.
Thanks! From what I have heard and seen, because of the weather issues trains were running late and constantly had to be re-crewed. This was the case for the River Line lately. It will take some time to get things back to normal. I went to the so-called "Occupy Ridgefield Park" a week ago and the re-crewing was non-stop for the entire River Line. There was a Q268 that was sitting at Teaneck for the entire afternoon and I left before it came through RFP, and it had a UP in the consist.
Great catches!

Great Video and catches!!
Saw that SOO and CN twice..

Excellent video Allen. I think I might have to check out a few of your locations on this line.

Great video and catches! Holy crap you had a good day up there! Wish I could've caught what you caught down on the River Line...

And as for the video, I didn't expect that much great stuff. All I wanted was to blow off some steam after a hard week of work.
Super!
CSX Chicago Line is always busy. 50 to 70 trains daily, sometimes more!
Yep, and with the ever increasing oil traffic...
Max speed I think on this portion is 70 for Amtrak, 60 for pig, and 50 for everything else.
nice video and great catch of all the cool train's in Amsterdam and were did you get your scanner radio from.
allen awesome video man!
Thanks, Mike!
cool video
Awww... CSX S227 is...a...fre-king gangster that day. Oh, no!
How can CSX train S227 run with an SD40-2 in the lead w/ a UP AC45?

All the foreign power was cool to see, this line nothing like this these days…
