Aaaaaa wave!

For the last ten months, the Nile has been running at high flows. High dam releases, combined with heavy rainfall has been causing havoc downstream, but for the Kayak the Nile team, there has been all sorts of wonderful whitewater to explore.
Kayak the Nile owner Sam Ward, has been surfing this beauty since march, and telling anyone who'll listen how much fun it is! It's named AAAAAA because that's the noise that Sam, Emily, and frankly everyone else who's tried it, made the first time they dropped over the horizon.
Very grateful to TJ from Nile Horseback Safaris who managed to get some great shots of a few of Sam's surfs!

First
