Now we are talking! Thanks for highlighting my home town in such a great way ☺
Also, we LOVE these types of videos and longer 10+ minute videos 😉

Point Loma does have a vibe. I lived there for a year, and enjoyed exploring it and there is quite a lot to do. Moved out for only two reasons: airport noise and traffic/parking. Lived in the midway district and often felt that if I went outside and raised my arm, I could touch the underside of an airplane taking off. The airport did have a 10:00 pm curfew at the time but airlines did risk the fines and did take off after 10:00. Not sure where you got the video of that OB street, but the reality is constant traffic and no parking. OB is generally for the younger crowd with a lot of bars and partying on nights and weekends. Look, I really enjoyed living in this area and if we could have found an affordable home further away from midway and the airport, would have done it in a heartbeat. The plus plus for me is the amazing plant life and gardens in this area, just stunning. No wonder long time garden center Walter Andersen Nursery has been in the area forever. Really like the style of the houses and the proximity to downtown and, well of course, the airport. The added bonus was the nightly fireworks display from Sea World.

Traffic and parking is the #1 complaint for sure

Gotta say... by far the "best views in San Diego" -- or at least on the Point Loma peninsula -- are on the bay side of the point. So many homes with (as one of your competitors says) "rock star views". The bay, Shelter Island yacht harbor, North Island, the airport, downtown. So much activity, so much to see. And, by the way, at 2:15 in the video: that's not Loma Portal. Fleetridge.

Thanks for showing us Point Loma. Years ag I had a friend who lived at Sunset Cliffs. That are has great ocean views, and places to walk. Ocean Beach I only went a few times, I did like it yet like Pacific and Mission beach more.
