You all need to pool your money, start a go fund me even.. then hire an attorney (do not go pro bono) and sue the owners of that property for damages, distress and trauma. The ONLY thing investors care about is money and lawsuits. . The city can't do anything for you, they would be violating that tenants rights. A judge can find in your favor in a lawsuit against the owner and order them to pay you. The judge can also fine the owner for allowing this. Repeat lawsuits is more money the owners will have to pay. And then THEY will kick the person out.
100% It's disheartening to see homes in neighborhoods bought up by these LLC and rented out to just anyone. When my neighbor got remarried and sold her house, it was purchased by another homeowner who rents it out. I was so concerned, but he has very careful to who he rents to. I appreciate that so much so I know it can be done. I really hope the residents get some peace and security back.
