game is crashing on a server side as well as client, glitches and bugs all over the place, for me personally resolution scale slider doesn't work, there are artifacts on both sides of the screen occasionally, flickering grass, in the graphics options i can only switch 1 thing and have to restart the game for next graphical option
ASA is not badly optimized, it is the most beautiful under UE5 in 2024, densest in vegetation, lighting effects and creatures ! It is necessarily more energy intensive than an empty and uggly ASE ! Games under UE5 currently are empty landscape and less PNJ, it is normal that you have more fps..
This game's performance an an abomination. There's no technical reason why it should be anywhere near this slow for what it does. The simulation side of it should be totally uncoupled from the rendering and FPS.

Hopefully they release some fixes for the game soon!
Where did you get the Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Gaming from?
it was only available at the premiere now you have to buy a better non reference version
@@Raider0001 thanks
Like Raider said. I got it from overclockers though on day 1 release
tipo for those who want to know fsr preset numbers:
Ultra Quality (discontinued option from fsr1) 77% 0.7777777777777778
Quality 67% 0.6666666666666667
Balanced 59% 0.5999999999999999
Performance 50% 0.5
Ultra Performance 34% 0.3333333333333333
Thanks very much. I was right with the 67%!
This game has a lineage of being horribly optimized. It's been that way since Early Access of Ark Survival Evolved.
very true

Sooo true!!! And so sad
@@SuperMan-ir2ii avatar frontiers of pandora looks better than this game and is just as large in scale as this game with far superior performance
What other unreal engine 5 games have you played that's this large?
This is probably the biggest open map size in ue5 ive played
I guess you don't know how octrees/quadtrees work. The world size is irrelevant.
Set sky off and you will have better frames. Ingame command: VolumetricCloud 0
ok, thanks for the advice

most unreal engine 5 games perform like this
This game just doesn't work and it's not unreal engine fault this game is buggy since day 1
I'm hoping they do some improvements to the game soon.
resolution scale IS your fsr scaling, just not being fsr
Its just render scaling at that point. No image upscaling that fsr provides
@@BenchmarkBoy It actually is upscaling, it's just deceptively named. The game uses unreal engines TSR upscaler which is basically as good as FSR 2.0
@@cameronbethea123 it is like 50% as good as fsr 2.
@@SuperGaragemonkey UE5s TSR implementation is just as good.
i think the biggest problem is the cpu
Biggest problem here is the game engine. Its been the same performance with most ue5 games
Nah
?
disable volumetric clouds. Problem solved.
ok thanks for the advice
man dis game sucks cack 😂 damn
Ur crazy...running adrenaline and msi afterburner and also dhadowplay ahha..no wonder why ur so stutters and low fps lol..what r u thinking
shadowplay? what are you talking about
