One of my many favorites. Welcome on your Dimash journey. Many start with 2017 performances on The Singer. It’s a competition in China for professional singers. He was the youngest one invited and only one from another country. He came in as a dark horse and wowed all. After 1st performance was aired in China he exploded with 600M followers. Recommend those episodes including back stories. When ready, watch movie video, 😅The Story of One Sky. Composed by Dimash. A masterpiece that he worked on for 3 years, wrote the screenplay, sole singer, acted. Message needs to be seen/heard by everyone. Live version at Almaty concert is incredible. Highly emotional music video/short movie with symbolism and a message for all of humanity.

Hello sweet and beautiful dear Paula..Another my comment in your reaction on Dimash and your fabulous journey in Dimashland..I don't like the people that say a song or a version is better of another or is the best in absolute,this is just a question of personal opinion and taste..I prefer say my favorite songs/versions..In this case for the song Adagio sung divinely live by Dimash my favorite version is I'm singer 2017,in my opinion is an epic and heartwarming personal version of Dimash..But i like also this version that you react that is very good..In this performance Dimash had some technical problems with the myc and the sound,but despite everything Dimash being a phenomenon came out great with a beautiful performance..For the next reactions i suggest you The love of tired swans and Mademoiselle Hyde both in the concert of Kiev march 2020 and bot the videos are in Dimash's channel..These are 2 beautiful live versions of these 2 beautiful songs..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever

Ikanaide in the studio is a favorite. Look up the touching back story first. Sings in Japanese.
Daybreak in 2021 or on The Singer should be on your list. Tragic backstory of a cable car accident that killed 14 people including parents of a 3 yr old who survived. A Chinese artist wrote the song after learning the story and then adopted the orphaned boy.

Check out his version of All By Myself (NOT the World's Best version), his cover of Hello, the version of Know (where he's wearing the white suit, or really any version, lol). How about Sinflu Passion? Have you reacted to that one? Ave Mara will blow your mind. Stranger is epic. Ikanaide is a study in beautiful, light singing with utter control and soaring heights. I love this song and it's a good performance. But the best performance of Adagio is the one from The Singer competition 2017 in China and he also plays the piano there. In this version Dimash takes this song to another level. There is no version which is better than this one. The performance on The Singer is and will probably always be my favorite.
In my opinion this version is waaaay more emotional than the one from Sochi, 2018. But it’s all a matter of taste. He literally sang for survival as he was almost voted out on the last episode of Uptown Funk. That's why he had to give everything at Adagio.
A really beautiful song❤️. A song that Lara Fabian (a Belgian-Canadian singer) has already sung and also written the lyrics for. Dimash has always been a great admirer of Lara. The emotions that Dimash sends out with this performance literally hit me physically every time🤯. And you can see there that I’m not the only one.
I love his outfit with his blue suit and white shoes. If you watch several videos of him, you will see that he often falls on his knees during many of his performances. So a Dear gave him knee pads as a gift. I don’t think he wore them on stage though. Although he has certainly gotten one or two bruises😂.

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly".
This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace.
The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself.
The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance).
But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions.
She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration.
This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , …
They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love.
