@@MCole-xz3cz no they never had DPU’s, they have the technology in the new SD70M’s 2120-2124 but will probably never use them as those engines are the only ones with them. And well the trains on the system are not long enough/travel length so it just ain’t worth it.
My special needs son really likes the Ontario Northland Railway 🛤 he hopes that real soon or sooner than soon someone can get a Ontario Northland snow plow train on camera 📷.
It is very rare to catch these trains as they don’t run often anymore as new technology has replaced them. The Jordan spreader is broken down in cochrane and the russle plows are not often used. @@ontario.northland.railfan Well thank you that is disappointing 😞😕😔😒😑😐 my son liked all 3 videos and hopes the Jordan Spreader will be repaired soon or sooner than soon and that they will phase in the Russell snow plows because he says they can still have their uses and should not be permanently replaced by new technology because progress is not everything.
