Sorry guys but I really don’t understand why companies keep making these “All in one” tanks.. In my experience with owning one, it ended up being complete pain to work on. Since all tanks sit on stands..why move away from using the stands interior for the sump?! What benefit is there to leave the stand interior virtually empty? The tank’s sump is after all the engine/ life support system and the most important part...So why the hell would anyone want to place the sump behind the tank and make it so small and inconvenient to access?! Impractical designs are a pet peeve of mine..and in my opinion I find these “AIO” tanks to be absolutely idiotic and defy all logic. Why make things harder than they need to be? Happy Reefing👍
As we mentioned in the video most of the IM aquariums are desktop sized, this is where AIO systems come into their own. No need for anything below or beside the aquarium. We used the cabinet in this build to show what customers wanting the whole package can have (plus we will be doing something cool with the cabinet in the future) but a large majority sold are just aquarium and equipment packages. If you like the IM aquariums and want to use a sump then check out the INT and EXT weir ranges on the website - charterhouse-aquatics.com/shop/aquatics/aquariums/innovative-marine Thanks for watching and for getting involved!
@Charterhouse TV Yes can appreciate that, but I’d still prefer a below tank sump for ease and visibility of equipment. At the very least ,if Innovative Marine design team was TRULY innovative they would’ve created these tanks with a clear back panel and then have a black “equipment blind” panel that can be slid in and out as/when needed. But again, in my experiences having filter equipment hidden in a back chamber, even if the tank is small..is far from ideal. All aside, I appreciate your vids. Cheers

CaribSea life rock. I plan to use in a lagoon 25 when you get them in stock again!
Noted! Tanks are on their way so not too long now
Do you believe the two prime hds would be sufficent?
Yes Brett Ackerman Jr. The new Prime 16HD have a spread of 24’ so should be fine
I would swap that skimmer for the Tunze 9004 dc.
Why didn’t you use the newer DC ghost skimmer?
Only have these in the desktop version at the minute. The Midsize DC models will be with us shortly!
Dudes it looks like you do not ship to Ireland?
