Awesome gameplay and rules run through. I also appreciate the small footprint of this and hope more publishers start to do this. I just punched this today and will be playing it, solo or two player, before the end of the year. Thanks again guys!
Another great playthrough! I have this one pre-ordered. I will probably mostly play solo, although my wife will definitely be willing to give it a go (especially with the phenomenal art and component quality). I tend to watch primarily solo playthroughs as those are most informative for me but I so thoroughly enjoy the dynamics between you two (reminds me of my brother and me) and your enjoyment of the games you play is infectious. Love your content! Keep up the great work!
I like the technical term, "Blop," for putting your courtier down. LOL! I just got this game today, and I can't wait to try it out! Thanks for the overview and playthrough.
Ordered a copy today. This seems right up our alley, the missus and me. We like this level of complexity and dice drafting, but don't have anything at this shorter length, which is sometimes called for. Reminds me a bit of Troyes.
Looks like a very enjoyable and replayable game, with little space needed, beautiful illustrations, with a single player mode and pretty cheap. What more can you ask for? Thank you for the gameplay :)
Awesome video. Quick question though...At around 40:20 you put the black 3 die down on a 4 space. You didn't have the funds to do that BEFORE you put the die down. So, my question is...can you take the action if you don't have the funds BEFORE taking it as long as you get the funds during that particular action? I would think you would need to have the funds to take the action before reaping the rewards of it. Thoughts?
Maybe I missed it but when you move one of your courtiers, warriors or gardeners to the board, aren’t you supposed to get the rewards that are listed below them? I don’t think I saw you guys doing that unless, like I said, I missed it. And if the answer is yes, do you get the one under the one you’re moving now or just the ones before it? Just got this yesterday and I’m trying to learn the rules. Great playthrough! Love your videos!
Another setup goof: the three top dice tile spaces on the first floor showing a diamond shape need to be of different color. Here you have orange, black, black! In my experience, one of those rooms always end up having its three rows of different color because of this. It makes for a harder choice to go to that room…
Jesus, what an absolute yawn fest. I couldn't even get through the rules explanation without yawning 50 times. I'm still yawning! Weird, meaningless theme, meaningless card and wood pushing, I'm gonna go with a hard "Nein! No soup for you! Next!"
I think you missed some part of the Courtier action. After taking a card, you also get to do one of the actions on the card with white background.
No way!! Ooh that action is even better now!
Yep. You do.
first thing I noticed too
Been looking at this one. I really like how crunchy it is, despite it being a pretty quick game. Thanks for the playthrough!
I was really on the fence with this one, but you guys always make it look so fun! OK, now it's on my "get" list. Thanks!
It’s really so fun. We both have it on our shortlist for game of the year

Any time!

Fantastic overview
This crunchy little game has me hooked!

Very excited watching this. My copy should be arriving tomorrow.
Looks just like my thang . . . 😊

Another great playthrough ❤

No I just messed it up

Lot of mistakes. Recommend the video from Before you play for an accurate play through,. Sorry guys!
I think you made a setup goof. In 2p the cards with a diamond in the bottom left corner are removed from the decks.
We did, I just played a 3 player game of this this weekend and went "whoops we messed that up"

I didn't realize the die doesn't have to be above the gardener, but can be at the opposite side of the bridge.
Also I saw at least 2 times where you guys ran your lantern after placing a courtier. Don't forget value!
I dont see any tiny burgers at all 😢
Is Game Haus open??
No unfortunately it is no longer there but we keep the name in memory of it
Watching 🎉
At 8:17 you forgot to pay 1 iron for the warrior lol….. cheat !! 😂😂,….. but then at 9:07 you corrected it yourself ! That’s a sport ❤❤😊
Hahaha gotta stay honest if we remember it!
Please dont make me want to buy it at Essen :D My list already too long.

Well hey no game is for everyone but it definitely sounds like you need better sleep at night
