KEY POINTS:
Extension of visa on arrival (VOA) to 31 countries (up from 19).
Introduction of a new visa category, Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), for foreigners who wish to stay in Thailand for a long period of time and work remotely (workcation).
Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) Eligibility and Benefits:
Skilled foreign talent, digital nomads, freelancers, and people engaging in activities such as learning Muay Thai, cooking, sports training, medical treatments, seminars, and art and music events.
Spouse and legal children (under 20 years old) of DTV holders.
Proof of financial support or a guarantee of at least 500,000 baht for the duration of the stay.
The DTV allows a stay of up to 180 days with a visa fee of 10,000 baht, valid for 5 years. The stay can be extended once for another 180 days with an additional fee of 10,000 baht.
Foreign students pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a Non-Immigrant Visa (ED) will have an easier time finding work and staying in Thailand after graduation.
1 year extended stay after graduation for job search, travel or other activities, with certification from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

visa arrival for 60 days will be effective by 15 july as my wife work in chon buri immigration but the rule is your hotel must be prepaid and return flight as well and the main thing per person should be 20000 thb
Sir, i have my flight on 22 july & for now i have booked return flight on 16 july bcoz of 30 days but i can reschedule it one month forward. I have booked hotel for 22-16 but pay at hotel. I have bought 20000 Baht. What should i do? I wanna stay for 2 months.
Should i reschedule my flight already, or should i go & ask at suvarnabhumi airport immigration directly after landing? Like if they give me 30 day or 60 day

Generally they dont ask much these days but as the official guidlines:
Flight ticket return
Hotel Bookings
Carry some THB as proof of funds
Original passport
But 60 din kon hi indian rukta h. Mostly indians sirf 7-10 din rukte h.

Hey bro, i have been to Thailand 4 times for a duration of 53 days in 2024. But in my last visit, the immigration officer at the arrival counter asked me to ensure i check the travel terms and conditions before i plan a trip again.
1. He mentioned this saying i have nearly completed my quota of travel (90 days - is what he mentioned).
2. In addition i read on quora that there is a limit on the number of trips that one could make as well.
3. VFS was of no help and directed me to connect with thr immigration bureau.
Could you help me understand the limitations or lead me to where i could find the answers to my question. Alternatively i remember seeing on your channel that you reached out to the bureau - i cant recall if it was your video - could you help me with an email address i could write to.

Usually if you watch videos of people who have gone there, they share their experience that the immigration usually dont ask much, just the return tickets they ask. I think you'll be fine. My flight is on 22 july. Please let me & everyone in comment know what stamp you get, 30 day or 60 day.
At least have a booking for a week or 10 days. You can reserve the hotels

Dear, Aug is the wettest month in Thailand but still avoid southern Thailand. I would recommend anytime after Oct 15th but If you still want to travel keep it to Bangkok and Pattaya. It just cant rain for all the hours in a day.

it is not a multi-entry type visa but yes there is scope of entering again into Thailand and get your passport stamp

yes, you can get visa exemption until Nov 11th. It might get extended to post Nov 11th. Nothing really is asked but keep all your documents in check.
