@@FirearmFreedom That's what I carry on my backpack when camping in dangerous territory, mainly for wild hogs. I replaced the synthetic forend with an aluminum M-Lok forend, and added a +1 mag extension. I also mounted a SureFire M340C Mini Scout Light Pro, a Holosun HE509T-GR optic, mounted on the 6-round side saddle rail.
Sweet shotgun.Put a Specter Gear sling adaptor on the stock. You can even get them with shell holder attached. How about a smaller light??Streamlight RM1 or RM2 are great options
so in 2021 I bought an 1187 that goes up to a 3.5 in shell and came with wood stock and forend. I've kept both on there and have used it for duck, sporting clays, trap, and pheasant it has done well. It came with a 28 in barrel, since getting it I've got the timeny trigger upgrade, volquartsen extractor and 21 in barrel.....my goodness this is like 2 different guns from what I got.
Joe do you know the difference if any with the gas system of the 1100 vs 1187. Does the 1187 have those rubber O-rings that seem for me anyway to always need replacing. Denis.
The part is not a rubber O-ring, it's made of Viton. Rubber will fail pretty fast, Viton will last a long time. The O-Ring store used to sell the correct Viton part, cheaper vs. a gun store.
I’d like to see some detachable mag shotgun reviews given the ammo capacity limitations with the tube Is there a 870 semi-auto version w detachable mag?
Ehhh to be honest I am really not a huge fan of the detachable mag options especially for defense just because the rounds get so easily deformed in the mag over time.
Pistol grip stock helps with holding the gun towards target while loading. Much easier Nice vid. Love the concept you have. Thx for showing and efforts
I love this SBS and watched your earlier video several times on this shorty , it's so darn cool but I have to say I like the pistol grip stock you had on it much more than this wooden stock.
The Tac-13 works well also 👍
Yes it does!!
I have heard great things about those too!

It's your gat but the wood stock needs a wood forend.
I do agree I think it would look sick with the combo
Reminds me of Ian's Remington Auto-8 with the wood stock/synthetic handguard combo. It's definitely a vibe.
Couldn’t agree more!
Awesome video Joe - proud of you!xoxo
Thanks mom love you!

Ya I do agree I think that light would definitely work better I might have to try that out! And that sling adapter. Thanks for the comment.

If I remember right they are the same gas system and the o rings definitely go out frequently unfortunately. Thanks for the comment Dennis!

I've got an 1100 tactical that does have the pistol grip ,my 870 used to but switched it over to a magpul stock that I think works better for the pump
Nice! Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for the comment!
A VCS treatment of that barrel would really tame that gun😉👍
I do agree it would be sick!

That’s a great point, thanks for the comment as always!
I. Bet a folder would also look great . The old grey metal.. just saying
Oh I totally agree, if this one didn’t recoil inside of the stock I would without a doubt try one

Nothing wrong with that man it’s definitely a personal preference thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
That is one sveet blaster!

I have an 1187 and a mossberg 940 both are good, but the 1187 doesn't hold a candle to it IMO
