Actually I'm far from impressed! That master ain't all that - that bathroom looks like what my parents had way back in the 60s, and they weren't counted as millionaires! And the bedrooms just lack something. Maybe they'll look better furnished? Really disappointed that a Kenyan counted this as a show house to show case the 'millionaire' houses.

Me being a Kenyan and a property consultant in Dubai. I must say properties in Kenya are always overrated with very poor finishing. Sorry guys but those properties should not even cost that much. If I convert that amount to Dirhams it's around 3.6M AED and with that amount you can only buy an extremely high end gated community villa. And am talking of Dubai so how about Kenya where labor and some material are locally sourced. And this goes to food as well. Its way too cheaper in Dubai than Kenya, because this place has what they call "Price Control" unit unlike Kenya where 1L of water is almost the same price as 1L of fuel and yet that oil is far fetched oil (maybe from Iran - not sure) while in Dubai 1.5L of water is around Kshs 30. Anyway it's all about proper leadership and being mindful of a local ordinary person. Much love.

The grills in the windows and doors compromises esthetics. Upgrade to double paned and high tempered bullet proof glass windows. If you can afford such money, you can definitely afford grill-less windows and doors. I think the reason that house costs so much is because of its area code, house alone not worth a mil. honestly. I will start buying and remodel these homes before they hit the market. Any investors out there? Reach out for a business plan, I have equipment and experience!

@Ahmed Is King, Real estate prices have been exaggerated in Nairobi for the last 15-20 years. however, it is cheaper to buy your own land and self build your house in the satellite town of Nairobi.

It's 1 million USD because the land is in an expensive area, but the actual value of the house is much less.
