Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, “That’s My Jam” is an hourlong music and comedy variety game show that draws inspiration from the most popular “Tonight Show” games. Each episode features two teams of two celebrities competing for a charity of their choice in a series of music, dance, and trivia-based games and musical performances. Signature games to be played include Launch the Mic, Air Guitar, Don’t Drop the Beat, Perfect Mash-Up, Wheel of Impossible Karaoke, Slay It, Don’t Spray It and many more.
The format was brought to Universal Television Alternative Studio by Fallon, longtime “The Tonight Show” producer Jim Juvonen and writer Josh Knapp. Adam Blackstone is Musical Director and will lead the house band throughout each episode. Mike Yurchuk will serve as showrunner.

This genre that Chance The Rapper just sung sounded just like a Country Singer. With vocals like theses maybe Chance The Rapper could sing any genre. Now that musical was impressive.
Most country singers, not all, started out doing some other genre, often rock, but you can fake a country twang. Look at Keith Urban. Yep, you can hear something ain't right, but most people if they didn't know he was from Australia, wouldn't peg it.

I hadn't given much thought to Chance, but I do now. Dude has serious talent to create that on the fly and it be record worthy.
For what its worth, its been heavily speculated that all of these challenges are pre-assigned in advance so that people have time to prepare and not look dumb live. But I agree, in that iv always thought Chance was such a musical guy, beyond his chosen genre. Sucks that he gets so much shit from everyone
I don’t believe this is spontaneous at all. I know Jimmy Fallon had almost a similar segment on his show before, I believe it was called-“wheel of musical impressions”, and it’s just hard for me to believe that the songs/styles aren’t worked out beforehand, but made to appear on the fly. Regardless still a good job by chance the rapper, and josh groban is one of my favorite singers, and Joseph-Gordon-levitt is one of my favorite actors.
Yeah absolutely. The musical arrangement would have to be in a key to fit his voice and they also need to know musical cues. There would definitely have been a rehearsal, but it's still amazing.

I've been to a chance concert about 6 times, I got to support my fellow chicagoan 773 baby, and he's definitely one of the best performers in the last decade. Saw him open for Gambino, Social experiment tour, Family Matters tour and Lollapalooza. The man knows how to put on a show and connect with his fans
