@@Pedro-zh6kk wonder what it's like these days, since leaving that comment I've finished tears of the kingdom on the deck and barely dipped below 40fps
Hey I’m getting my steam deck today I saw a few vidoe comparisons between rujinx and yuzu ultimately in your opinion which one do you think is better on the dec????
@@kemo9507 Ryujinx WILL run some games better than Yuzu and vice versa. You have to try both and figure it out. Odyssey runs much better for me on Ryujinx for example. Also some games run better with Vulkan back end while others run better with OpenGL.
Hello I'm using your Yuzu settings but I'm getting roughly 20-25fps with Metroid Dread and Mario Odyssey, I have them located in the microSD card would that be the reason of games running like that?
@@MaliceSpeedwagon I'm at the point where I could fight Rex and Shulk. I think I can also go into some mines. The game boots (with vulkan) but as soon as I move the camera, it stops working. Waiting too long also causes the Steamdeck to reboot. I also tried removing shader caches and such. It's weird, some people claim they can properly play the game but I'm stuck. I dumped the game and save file as my Switch's joycons are extremley worn out but I refuse playing on Switch :D
Yuzu setting
In BIos
- 4GB VRAM
In PowerTools
- Disable SMT
In the Deck Overlay
- Set the GPU to 1000Mhz
In Yuzu
- General Settings : Extended Memory (6GB DRAM)
- Graphics Settings :
Resolution 0.75
Windows Adapting Fliter : FSR
Great video, could you please elaborate on that bios or blos setting set to 4GB VRAM?

thanks. handheld or docked mode in yuzu ?
@@HiCZoK Emudeck sets it to hand handle
Should anything be specifically unchecked in the Yuzu settings?
Énorme merci à toi !!!!!!!! J'ai suivi les tutos et mis exactement la même config et Zelda botw fonctionne trooooooop bien !!!!!!!
Thanks for the video, hot damn breath of the wild is in a playable state! Gonna need to get a comparison between yuzu and cemu versions running!
I’ll look into that
Breath of the wild runs at about the high 40s in Cemu check cryobyte UA-cam channel he made a video on it
Cemu has definitely better performance due to the simpler nature and more robust WiiU emulation, I'm playing on Cemu without any problems.

@@maroonstarsface settings? I barely get 23-30 fps on yuzu totk
I've done extensive testing and most games perform hardly better at all with yuzu resolution set to .75 but look 25% worse. Everything else is good.
I was tryna to keep the test the same
What version of shin megami tensei 5 you tested sir...I tested version 1.02 with DLc and its always crashing
I believe it’s base game

Yuzu the more optimized one

@MichaelFreeman-c6k I had the opposite experience. it ran at about 40 fps ok ryujinx but runs at a stable 60 on yuzu with some tinkering

No I’m using sd also
make sure, you don't limit the power in the steam deck setting, and update the game
@@angeldeschain0 where do i check this
Have you tried cryo utilities 2.0? Does it improve anything for switch emulation?
For heavy games, like age of calamity I haven’t seen a difference
Wonder how these settings effect battery life and device life in general
Any game in mind?

question, wouldnt FSR help with the frame rate?
It’s done in the emulator 75% resolution
If you mean fsr in the steam deck overlay, all that does is upscale the image to fit the display
Can you do this same test but with steam deck oled model
I can't get XC3 to work, it's always crashing for me at some point...
How far are you into the game?

Other than the SMT settings did you alter anything else in powertools? Thx
Should be a pinned comment
How do u get powertools and Cryoutilities on steam deck?
PowerTools from Emudeck in tools and stuff
Cyroutilities in the description
Does CyroUtilities Affect Battery Life in any way? Because i plan on Installing to to Improve FPS On Emulators and regular games
It’s basically limiting the cpu to only 4 cores so it should save battery
Curious if any of these can do 60
Most are locked to 30fps
Yes some can with mods to increase frame cap
This is too cool 😎 ❤
Is windows or steam os?
