The fighting itself is from an event that I organized and hosted, where we were using "armor as worn" rules, meaning some armor was immune to certain weapons as best we could determine based on tests and historical accounts. The next event in this style is planned to be held in November near Madison, Wisconsin. I'll probably be making a video announcing it with more details soon 🙂

A wonderful video once more. You truly and honestly have come a long way in the art of armouring. It does fill me with a feeling of joy to see you able to create such beautiful pieces of kit. Though I know it wears you down and can make you lose some of the joy of armouring, especially when having to fill out orders. I must say it is still wonderful seeing your work. Stay safe.
Nicely done! id like to ask you about the articulating, why do combine strap and "mobile riveting"? i suppose that its because the straps happens to wear off and you dont need that much mobility in the back, but i could be wrong. Another question, dont u get hurt without the rolling in the piece that goes near the elbow? thx a lot
Thanks! So, I decided to articulate the front with leather since it ultimately is more flexible, since the leather can collapse on itself far more than any sliding rivet, and it also allows the plates to move in more planes of motion than a sliding rivet as well. Because the arm is able to move around in a forward motion rather than in the rear, it's more necessary to have this amount of flexibility where the most movement occurs. The sliding rivets in the back function primarily as pivot points, but since they slide they have slightly more motion than just a regular pivot. The rivets provide quite a bit of rigidity as well I found, so having both the leather and rivets creates a pretty good balance between rigidity and mobility. So far I haven't been hurt on the elbow from the edge of the spaulder, since it ends before it gets to any boney parts of my elbow and connects to a separate elbow piece.
Love the photos of these spaulders you put up on the FB page, they look awesome and very well done Would love to of seen how you made the top piece of the spaulder (the part where you drill the arming holes, the part that sits on the deltoid muscle)
From everything I have seen they make great armor! I've only gotten a very brief chance to handle their armor in person but I I can definitely recommend!

where do you get your steel from?do you get it somewhere local or order it online?
Normally I try to get steel locally, since I find shipping gets expensive. In the past I've ordered metal from www.onlinemetals.com/
