I was just about to say that. I'm a veteran and I cringe when people say Happy Memorial Day. It's crazy how Americans still get this date mixed up.
I know I cringe also... there is nothing ”happy” about it. We are a military family (my husband is in the marines) and are surrounded by friends/family that have paid the price. People
Who have laid down their life for our freedom. Close friends and family that were killed in action or deployed or even just recently on a ten day field op... a marine was crushed by a tank that rolled over here on base. His wife is pregnant and he will never meet his baby. We get to see their little ones grow that they never met and it kills me. I just have to remind myself that most Americans aren’t surrounded in life by it like we are. I would never be mad at someone for saying it. I love Keren and Khoa and they are such good people so I’m sure if they knew it was dis heartening and offended anyone who have lost loved ones I’m sure they would not have worded it that way. ♥️♥️♥️ much love♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻🇺🇸
