Using a Novus N1200 Process Controller To Generate 4-20mA Test Signal
Credit to the guys in Brazil as it’s not something we had considered but very helpful testing a basic level control if you’re short of a calibrator! I/O 5 can be set to 4-20mA Output, in Manual control adjustment of 0-100 provides a proportional signal. This can be achieved with 4 wires and just a few basic parameters.
More and more Novus products now have options for analogue output as well as standard pulse and relay.
