Yes, you can achieve this in a few different ways. Depending on if you want a straight line to 800C or any holding in between. The best method is to download QuickTune and experiment with the Ramp and Soak programming tool. For example, you can set one Ramp from ambient temperature to 800C lasting 8 hours. Then another 2 hour segment to hold.

If your sensor is reading low increase the offset. Normally you can take a few measurements at different temperatures to try and establish the average error. Then enter this into the OFFS parameter. Positive values increase the reading from the sensor (you should see the measured temperature instantly rise by the offset value).

Hi, Apologies for the delayed reply. Yes, this is possible using a relay output. Within the alarm configuration you can point to a Ramp Soak event. We prefer to use QuickTune for this which is a free download. It is a common setup for some of our customers so we can definitely help you. Any issues please get in touch via the website.

Hi, we would need to check the specs. of the SSRs you plan to use but up to 3 from the pulse output (max. 50mA) is possible depending on the manufacturer of the SSR. You can always fit an interface relay to protect the pulse output. There are many ways to achieve what you are looking for. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss.

As an example our SSR 4825 model needs 12 mA (worst case considering the maximum control current) to trigger its output (12 x 4 = 48 mA < 50 mA). It depends on the maximum current of input side on the SSR.

I have a 1050 and I have it set to Out1 (Auto) and cannot get any voltage reading from terminals 4/5. Any ideas?

Thanks for your comment, this video is the NC400-6 Counter. It only shows basic operation from a photocell to count products on a conveyor. NT240 is the panel mounted timer, this has 11 modes so it's quite hard to cover them all in a short video. We will have something for this soon!
