    Dark eyes, burning eyes
    Passionate and splendid eyes
How I love you, How I fear you
Truly, I saw you at a sinister hour
    Dark eyes, flaming eyes
They implore me into faraway lands
Where love reigns, where peace reigns
Where there is no suffering, where war is forbidden
    Dark eyes, burning eyes
    Passionate and splendid eyes
I love you so, I fear you so
Truly, I saw you at a sinister hour
If I hadn't met you, I wouldn't be suffering so
I would have lived my life smiling
You have ruined me, dark eyes
You have taken my happiness away forever
    Dark eyes, burning eyes

    Here is the Cyrillic lyric:

    1.
Dark and burning eyes, Dark as midnight skies
Full of passion flame, full of lovely game
I'm in love with you, I'm afraid of you.
Days when I met you made me sad and blue.
    2.
Oh, not for nothing are you darker than the deep!
I see mourning for my soul in you,
I see a triumphant flame in you:
A poor heart immolated in it.
    3.
But I am not sad, I am not sorrowful,
My fate is soothing to me:
All that is best in life that God gave us,
In sacrifice I returned to the fiery eyes!

      msinvincible2000 2 Things.
1: The killings of communism are vastly over exaggerated. And I doubt that someone with the birth year of "2000" lived during the years of true communism.
2: 100 million people killed by communism are a mere drop in the ocean compared to how much capitalistic imperialism has killed.
Here, have a good read with this:
      communistftw.wordpress.com/2013/11/12/response-to-communism-killed-100-million-people/
Of course, I don't hate you or anything, though I hate it how you hate me just because I believe in a different ideology and I have a different opinion than you.

Listening to this while working on my novel about a young Red army soldier who falls in love with a dark-eyed noble lady who is a centuries-old vampire and whose mansion in the Perm countryside his military unit is supposed to seize during the civil war. Couldn't ask for better atmosphere than this!
    Even the lyrics of
"Dark and burning eyes, Dark as midnight skies
Full of passion flame, full of lovely game
I'm in love with you, I'm afraid of you."
    or
"Oh, not for nothing are you darker than the deep!
I see mourning for my soul in you,
I see a triumphant flame in you:"
fit my main character's mindset so well this is brilliant food for thought!
Thanks a lot for the upload comrade!

      @@emilebrunet6664 Thanks for asking! :)
I had some pretty bad family issues so I unfortunately had to take a break some months ago and didn't recover my original inspiration yet. When I first started I had finished the first 3 chapters in just 2 weeks, but now I'm stuck on chapter 4 for a very long time. I still plan to finish it and I have a lot of great ideas about the overarching lore of the universe concerning vampires and their connections to various events in human history, (the lore takes inspiration from Vampire: The Masquerade and the World of Darkness universe, plus some ancient Sumerian and Babylonian mythology, a few Romanian and Slavic folktales, as I'm a Romanian native of Transylvania, and some original ideas I'm quite proud of) plus a good idea of how I want to finish the book (or rather part 1 of what could be a series of novels if I can get to publish it) and the personalities of all the main characters, but I'm currently stuck at a particular point in the plot for which I don't have ideas.
It will mostly be a mistery novel with a femdom romance (and potentially a few erotica scenes), but it will all be narrated in first person by the main character, the young Soviet student, communist revolutionary and red army soldier from Petrograd Ilarion Polyakov, so there are also going to be some psychological elements to it like thought monologues, strange dreams he will experience while at the manor as well as the inner conflict between his love for revolution and a brighter future for the Russian people (proletariat and peasantry) and his newly found love for this erudite, alluring, surprisingly enlightened, yet terrifying and mysterious noblewoman...
As I said, thank you for asking, as I even forgot I left this comment, and tell me if you like the concept or have more questions about it! :)

People don't think when they picture the Soviet Union of the actual culture that existed. They only think of the most dramatized characterizations. They think of cold, hunger, destitution. When in reality, the soviet people made art, they fell in love, they were young and they grew old together.
In Odessa a shy province farm boy meets a sharp, wiity girl from St. Petersbug and falls in love.
In Poland an old man shares fond memories of his youth and of his family with young girl from Brandenburg Germany
And in Azerbaijan a grandson holds the hand of his grandmother, whose life is nearing an end after a long battle with cancer.
They lived simple lives, sometimes hard lives, but their lives were always full ones, never empty, never alone. These are stories you will hear from any older person who lived in the USSR. Somethings are better now, but many things were better during Soviet times

Because of the feminine word ending "ette" in Brunette. This implies female. I KNOW you meant that you have brown hair and black eyes, but other people choose to misunderstand you.

no it is a good thing that yugoslavia and ussr fell apart. as a libertarian socialist myself, i couldnt stand the fact that yugoslavia was kept together under tito's authoritarian boot, so it is no surprise that it violently fell apart after his death. As for ussr, i honestly think that stalinism is the worst form of socialism to ever tread on russian soil. because what is the benefit of rapid industrialisation when its propelled with human lives and wellbeing, stripping away the basic rule of socialism, that is to provide for all the people and let them prosper, not only the working class. The reason USSR fell was not only gorbachev's more capitalist reforms, but the fact that all authoritarian states come to an end someday, whether it be communist or capitalist. Without proper and non corrupt democracy voices of the common folk will never be heard.

@@nashestylez Literally glowing. At the fall of the USSR, life expectancy dropped 20 years. Millions killed themselves with direct self harm or with alcohol. Women were sold into sexual slavery or prostitution where before they served in distinguished positions in academia, healthcare or the military. Entire factory complexes and supply chains were "bought" by Yeltsin's cronies who would become the new oligarchs.
This is your "democracy". This is your "freedom". This is the triumph of Bill Clinton, who also prolonged the bombing campaign of Yugoslavia, all so McDonalds could open a franchise in Moscow (that no-one could afford). All so the sacrifice of Tito's partisans, who fought for every meter of the Balkans with blood and fire, could be swept away by NATO bombs. "Libertarian"? Sure, if only because your position is no different to the Koch Brothers, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Henry Kissinger.
At least under "authoritarianism", none went hungry, all became educated, all those who were sick were cured and all those who retired were taken care of. Now you can get a Starbucks coffee in Serbia while seeing the young women who would have worked at one of the co-operatives, instead standing on the street corner to sell themselves. Are they "free" now? Are you "better off" without the spectre of an alternative political economy to discipline the Western powers into giving their citizens guaranteed healthcare and retirements?

@@MonMalthias I hate these western leftists that capitulate to western narraitves cause it's easier to accept the lies than the untold truth among the west I find "libertarian" socialism only exists in a vaccum and has no basis in reality and these spineless cowards don't even know anybody that lived under socialism and rather lie to themselves about actual historical existing socialism , libertarianism when faced with real material conditions would immediately find themselves the same way the early soviets did, encircled, invaded, embargoed, sabtoaged, etc so these dumbfucks should get off the internet and talk actual people that lived under socialism instead of acting "they should've done that, they shouldn't have done that and they did it wrong" like legit shut the fuck up
