I liked the yarn, pattern everything about your video. Granny Square stitch has been a favorite of mine for years. So glad to see it used to make so many really pretty and different items.
Just had surgery with a four week recovery ahead of me and this looks like a great pattern to work on. Making scarfs for our homeless shelter. Thank you so much for sharing your skills and knowledge.
Beautiful scarf and beautiful yarn. I love the color choices. Definatly going to make a few of these. Wishing you much love 💗 many blessings 🦋 and happy crocheting 🧶🤗🧶
A really nice pattern for a novice crocheter - have loved the playback speed function you mentioned - so wonderful for novice to experienced crocheter . As always another clearly articulated video🙂
Hi bonnie this is lovely scarf,l love the granny ripple, thank you for sharing this pattern,l have made granny ripple blankets but never thought of a scarf, blessings to you from Ireland xx
So pretty! I don't know what it is about you & your videos, but I truly love them all - you have beautiful patterns, a calm demeanor, beautiful hands, and a very pleasant voice. (No offense to some of the other crochet vloggers, but some have rather irritating voices that are hard to follow.) Thank you again!
I love the yarn you're using! Green is my favorite color! I will check out the website. Thank you for this great tutorial. It's different from just the "usual" scarves I make!
Bonnie, my mistake, after looking at your blog, I realized I have watched your videos before, & have also sent you a text!!! Sorry for the mistake, but it doesn’t change anything, I still think your videos are great! Bobbie from Canada
Love this. Decided I'd better get the pattern as you go to all the trouble of writing it. While I make it I'll feel like I'm having a cup of tea with a friend ( pattern costs less than that )
Thank you Bonnie for such an easy scarf..I am a beginner again after many years..is there some way to make it a little bit wider..love the bamboo colours thank you again Maggie from Australia
Thanks I for the tutorial. I am thinking about making as a scarf and leaving the ends loose rather than joining together. It might be interesting to put three tassels in the opposite ends, two on one end and one on the other. Another idea is fringe that would be a point on one end and an inverted point on the other. Might be interesting. . . .
I would like to make the scarf wider (for winter). I was thinking just one extra group of stiches on each side. How many should I start for the initial chain? Just six extra stiches?
Theresa Lockwood it’s a lovely, breathable fiber, and will stretch out slightly (like cotton) over time. Great for scarves, but no so much for sweaters.
Hi Bonnie, I am trying to make this beautiful scarf bit I'm having a problem. It keeps getting bigger and bigger and I dont know how you kept it the same width. Please help! I've wasted a lot of yarn already. Thanks, Kim
Oh dear! Perhaps you can send me a few snapshots of what is going on to bonniebay@me.com. I'm guessing that you are not skipping enough spaces at the bottom of the chevron? If you count the clusters at the end of the row that will tell. You are most likely adding in extra clusters somewhere.
Bonnie, instead of making this infinity, I made 2 panel sides with chevrons both going up. Now im trying to put them together. Ihave the tips together. And trying to granny square them together. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you.
@@BonnieBayCrochet Thank you for answering. I think I am going to try another sampler and see what I can come up with. I just don't want to do it to my finished sides.
After four hours of numerous attempts I finally figured it out. I did the granny stitch up one side of the left panel, at the chain two I did three dc then did three dc in Ch2 of second panel, and continued the granny st down to the end.Ch3 in final Ch3. Then Ch3 and turn. Back up second panel and attach to first. Basically I did the valley of the ripple between the two panels and then did the opposite side the same. It turned out perfect. Now sewing in loose threads.
Wow, beautiful scarf. Love the pattern of the scarf. Love to do them. Lovely share.
I love bamboo yarns.

Thank you Bonnie for such an easy scarf..I am a beginner again after many years..is there some way to make it a little bit wider..love the bamboo colours thank you again

You could try using thicker yarn and a larger hook to make it wider. Welcome back to crochet Maggie!😊❤️
@@BonnieBayCrochet thank you so much..really appreciate this .maggie

That sounds like fun! Please post a photo to my facebook page if you do this. I would love to see!
Can I use a number 3 USA yarn or medium 4
I would like to make the scarf wider (for winter). I was thinking just one extra group of stiches on each side. How many should I start for the initial chain? Just six extra stiches?
You can add multiples of 23 to the original starting chain for each additional ripple you wish to add Rachel.
Wow I've never used bamboo!
Theresa Lockwood it’s a lovely, breathable fiber, and will stretch out slightly (like cotton) over time. Great for scarves, but no so much for sweaters.
Nice
Thank you Bonnie for another great pattern. When I make these to sell, do I include your UA-cam channel on the sales sticker?
That's not required, but would be nice if you did! Thanks Shirley.

Bonnie can I use any yarn to do the scarf
You can certainly give any a try Lillian! I think this works best with a DK weight yarn, but could be a nice winter scarf if you use a thicker weight.
Hello. Would it be possible for me to make this wider?
Andrea Wiggins I’m sure you can if you don’t mi d doing a little math!
Bonnie, instead of making this infinity, I made 2 panel sides with chevrons both going up. Now im trying to put them together. Ihave the tips together. And trying to granny square them together. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you.
Shirley Razey I would love to see that!
@@BonnieBayCrochet how would you put the two sides together? I want something with the granny stitch.
Shirley Razey I connected them in a circle with opposite sides matching up. I have not considered what you are attempting.
@@BonnieBayCrochet Thank you for answering. I think I am going to try another sampler and see what I can come up with. I just don't want to do it to my finished sides.

Love the scarf but no written pattern?
millie woolson not yet. This is only a one row repeat once you get past the starting row. I will add this to the list though!😊
