Well a 72 year old man thousands of miles away in Scotland also shed a tear listening to the sad ending to the little much loved bird . Nature is wonerful , but can be tough at times .Im sure Melrose is flying much higher now with the angels ..Melrose is a very old Scottish borders town built around the milling industry and has an ancient ruined Abbey Sending best wishes to you all .
