- Iv been meaning to put this up for a while but life do be coming 1st since this isn't a job (yet) for me to cover a living in my addiction to gym memberships. (jokes aside) I hope this little rant gives an idea if this will be your kinda jam, if your not fully sold, the playtest should be out any second now (or hours) and i highly recommend jumping in and giving it a go.

If someone had told me a year ago that the next battlefield was going to be so garbage and bomb so badly that content creators would be comparing it to an early access indie voxel shooter, and that the indie fps would be way more feature complete and polished by comparison... ... I'd have totally believed them because DICE really are that terrible.

This game was my first ever battlefield experience that I've ever get...
I didn't play BF4 or past series or any BF series cause living in 3rd world country and low spec laptop
But this game is so fucking good because even with low spec, I can get a stable 45 to 60fps and the input responsive is fucking wow...
It still has problem with server but cuz it's still a playtest I'll let this one pass...
Playing as Medic is by far my main class lol, I love yelling at me teammates saying "DON'T DIE!!! LEMME REVIVE!!" and replied with a "thank you" from many people from russian, Chinese, Indo ( my country ), and Japan, and many more, hearing those increases my morale and boost my effort on saving my teammates more, i swear, being medic has been what I ever wanted ever since I want to experience what battlefield was supposed to be

I played recently and the servers ran absolutely fine even with 254 players and 60hz server refresh rate, truly an achievement, no other game has been able to have stable servers with that many people.

the skybox camping is actually one of the reasons, aircrafts are not in the game yet, besides balance and models; they are planed for the beta release after next playtests
I'm glad to hear that, that was my biggest worry, i just want some form of skillgap for aircraft, bf3 and bf4 did with how you handled the aircraft during DF and having skill bases air to ground weapons. i just hope they can apply it in this.

had some fun in this with proxy chat messing around with other teams and overall the game is pretty good
Having a monster blue, cracked my first one open not 5 minutes ago. Jumped into a conquest and spawned on a vehicle at some B flag. Got out and there was 30+ enemies chillin in a hallway. Out comes the C4 and a lot of proxy chat. Hell yeah!
I think Battlebit Remastered will not only be popular because of the game mechanics and features that are the same if not better as Battlefield 2042, but because you don’t need a high specs PC to run this game, any basic laptop can run the game at around 30-60 fps (of course with minimal graphics), this means it will be accessible to a lot more players unlike Battlefield 2042 that requires good specs to run.
i have seen a UA-cam video running battlebit remastered on intel graphics on 720p low 80-100fps 😱

This game is amazingly fun. And super excited for its potential to be something amazing.

To me Battlebit is like an Open-World-Team-Deathmatch-Conquest-Battlefield3 game. Which is exactly what I want from a FPS. Random headshotting lots of potential targets, do some small task like cap a point, revive some of my guys and in the end try to win, all in an arcady fun yet, if I so desire, tryhardy environment. I don't need SUPER-MEGA-ULTRA-REALISM 15DXSLLXXXXL-ANTISAMPLING engine to have fun, just good GUN-GAME. Graphics are artistic in nature and should be seen as such.
yeah played it for a couple of hours been enjoyable so far. like for example when I flanked an enemy and I just had a casual chat with the downed enemies on how their day has been and then I got shot by their friendly medic. was a fun casual experince.
Lol, I had a far more intense experience of trying to drag my teammate up stairs while desperately firing my weapon to suppress enemies behind the corner, it switches between casual and intense on a dime
When this game fully release's this is actually the game that you wont regret buying
Off the top of my head, the only things that 2042 does better is the vehicle variety and customisation (which themselves are pretty bad anyways), it’s animations and that’s it. Sure it has music and voice lines, but they are both trash in 2042. Sure it has better graphics but 2042’s graphics as a AAA game are awful. Sure the maps are more detailed but they are flat and boring.
Literally everything else I found far more enjoyable in battlebit, and I can see myself playing it for years if it can sustain the playerbase.
Workshop support alongside its low poly graphics means mods will be rampant, and I might even contribute to it myself!
Totally agree. The game is not even in EA yet and it already feels way more polished than 2042. I have lots of confidence in the devs after my playtest. I hope it gets the exposure it deserves. Wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for JackFrags.
Basically, the only things in Battlefield 2042 with quality are the things that can be bought with money. Sad.

when i first played bf4, i gave a bad recension about battlelog. But it actually was a great thing, if you had an ssd (which wasnt that common at that time, i had to buy one^^) you could browse servers without having the game run, check stats from people, chat with your bois and gals, and setup your loadouts.
when i first played battlebit in a tank, i was a bit disapointed. i agree the vehicle movement feels awkward. also my brain is trained on the clicking noise of the gun breech closing, to know when my next shell is ready. every game i know has that shell reloading noise, except battle bit. a reload bar under the crosshair like in war thunder would be decent as well.
Until they have improvments there, im not gonna play. maybe i give squad a second chance, have it for years now and not played much. But in Squad, like in ArmA you need a decent tank crew, to make it happen. That basically holds me back from playing this 2 games more often. Maybe ill just reinstall BF4 on my new computer and call it a day.
For the 2042 vs Battlebit comparison: if the battlebit devs put more work in, this game is going to stay. its just a way more versatile platform, and bf2042 is just cashgrab marketing trash.

this game has everything that makes an fps game so freaking fun to play. combine rainbow six siege with call of duty , battlefield and roblox you get this beautiful master piece. this game is so worth playing.

The bleeding from falling and the not so free jump and all that is all for the 'realism' aspect of the game, which is actually healthy and limits you from making some unrealistic slide jump and shoot thing which you see on most fps rn. Coz its not your typical arcady shooter, its meant to be in between realism and arcade, tactical shooter. The clan was also made so that you can create clans and challenge other clans for an all out war, saw this somewhere on the discord of the game.

It's impressive that the failure of BF 2042, made a lot of people find about other fps. I hope those games success, regardless if the next BF game comes out as an actual finished product or not (my bet is on 'not')
I honestly can't wait for it to come out looks super fun
The devs should look at keeping mods or admins in game via selected players that prove themselves to not be assholes. Having players in game that can tag cheaters or racists or harassing players and have them immediately banned or suspended mitigates so many problems. Players don’t want no freedom in game, but they also don’t want cheaters or people screaming slurs in voice chat. Players could apply in game like a officers program in the military. Players monitoring and policing the game makes more sense than using developers and AI.
They could prevent abuse of power by simply watching who the players report, if it’s not a cheater, if they’re not actually saying totally offensive things, the player that reported it gets a fail. Five fails and they’re demoted from the admins and cannot apply again for 365 days or something like that.
You don’t have to make them leaders in game, instead just responsible gamers that don’t tolerate cheaters or racist/offensive bullshit. Swearing is not offensive. Heck they could give verbal in game warnings before contacting a mod via some function within the game. “Hey man we don’t tolerate that kind of talk, say it again and you’re out.” Boom fixed. They should be able to tag that players voice chat or even just mute it for 24 hours. Again I don’t want no freedom to talk shit or be yourself, but some people are trash and don’t deserve to play with others.
Just some thoughts on how to keep voice chat without fucking ruining everyone’s games.
Cheaters. Instantly permanently banned. IP address, bank account (if this game actually starts charging), whatever data they have on the player plugged in to every system to red flag and exclude them forever. Cheaters ruin everything they touch.
they said that microtransactions will never be a thing, neither will there be a battlepass. they only plan on releasing some DLCs
@@relyann sure they say that. But I bet you that in their infancy so would Bethesda, DICE, Activision, Ubisoft, Rockstar, Square/Enix, Bioware, etc. I remember when EA sold high end polished games. I like this concept. Maybe it’s a bit too far simplified, I bet they could add a few polygons and improve player experience simply by making enemies slightly more discernible, but I like the idea of a highly functional game that treats gameplay as more important than graphics. But is this dev team incorruptible? Time will tell. Gaming could use a shake up.
For the life of me I can’t figure out why BF1 wasn’t used as a template for what fans want for the next games. Immersion. Gun play. Combative experiences. Unique ways to tackle tasks. Team work. It’s not that complex. Fun. We want challenging fun.

Would love some oceanic servers, but asian servers are close enough to be able to deal with bad ping, not sure if there would be enough players in AUS and NZ to fill oceanic servers atm
