    Very nice! Could you please tell me what kind of drill bit to use for this project? I almost bought a drill bit that had a point, but yours looks hollow. What is the best choice and why, please? Thank you

      A tile bit which is hollow and diamond tipped, £1.50 from ebay

      +jack sheldrake Is there a certain diameter drill bit for these cake plate stems...or do the tile bits only come in one size?
