Built in the mid 1800s, this HUGE Mansion was originally a private school.
Due to degrading grades and poor exam results, it closed its doors in 1993.
After this a Christian missionary group aquired the building and gave teachings, activities and Worship to its groups.

Wow, thank you guys for this. If the walls could talk. Lots of mixed emotions watching this, I was there at Pierrepont School from 1976-1979,
then 1981-1983. Made friends for life and still stay in touch with many of them. So many memories, we could narrate of all for you with stories. Unbelievable, yet so sad to see it in state it’s in. Cheers lads
I was a pupil there from 1981-1986 when it was a school. I visited myself at the end of last summer when the former owners were about to close it down, so guessing you were there shortly afterwards. I could tell you loads about how it all worked as a school, which had good and very bad sides to it. Still, was a real formative place in my life and visiting brought back so many memories. Even after having visited myself fairly recently, was really nice to enjoy it again with you.
How come there's no bathtub in the bathroom?
@@joecole7122 Sorry Joe, no idea. I left there as a school in 1986 and there were baths in the bathrooms back then. It carried on as a school for a few years after I left and then has been occupied by a fairly out-there christian cult for a good few years - who knows what happened in those intervening years!
Pure explore with no paranormal....love your stuff, always puts a smile on my face 😊
Cheers 😁 👍
Agreed 👌
Totally agree regards Paranormal. Big turn off for me!
You could have spent days in that place, it's HUGE! Thank you, Alex, Neddy, & Eddy!
Just want to point out something I’ve noticed about asbestos in your videos, them little red stickers are actually what’s made from asbestos not a warning sign for rooms etc (they stick them directly on what’s made from asbestos), all the fire doors will be asbestos and boarding, tiles etc, also in most cases asbestos poses no threat whatsoever aslong as you don’t disturb it which in these explorations and environments is fairly hard to do as most materials are non freyable. The only form of asbestos I would personally stay clear of and be very cautious around is loose fill insulation and pipe lagging (the stuff where you can physically see the asbestos fibre), again not usually a threat if untouched but even drafts can disturb that stuff. I’m sure you already know this but just will leave it for any others too.
Would also watch out for all the artex on the walls.
Thank you for the info, much appreciated 👍
Very beautiful Tudor home. I pray no one vandalizes it.
Wow, what a building. You couldn’t get up for a wee in the night without waking the whole house 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And those creaking floorboards, you'll wake everyone up 🤣
FYI - I went to this school in 1970-3. The way you guys sneak around reminds me of slipping off for a ciggy. Have to say that you found areas that I never saw. Staff quarters and domestic staff areas.
What a beautiful building ❤thanks guys
You're welcome 👍
Wow. What a wonderful trip down memory lane. I was at Pierrepont 88-93, and it closed the Summer after my A-Levels. Would have loved to have seen you explore the rest of the grounds - the old classroom block, the sports hall etc.
The room you really liked with the shields and the falling down ceiling was the library, and the pool table was in what used to be the music room. The main hall with all the chairs was where we had assembly.
I half expected you to go up onto the roof and find all the graffiti we left up there!🤭
Thank you, Alex, Neddy, & Eddy for the tour
I know a friend who went there, seems all the local schools are like that now. My old one nearby closed about 3 yrs ago and they are still deciding what to do with it. Another local girls school is now an old peoples home. Oak panelled private schools all going bankrupt.
The annual running costs of these buildings is astronomical. A sad fact of life.
Thank you so very much for taking us up to the top of thr clock tower. It was remarkable to see the bells, and hear it ticking.
I hope this estate won't be destroyed and taken down. It is a beautiful place, and so massive. Seems a shame to take it out. Anyways, I loved the tour. Thanks to all of you guys. Ed, Ned, and Alex. Always enjoy your videos.
Wow, what an amazing old building. I love buildings with loads of corridors and nooks n crannies, you never fail to find great places to show us. Cheers guys 👍
I'd get lost in there 😮
Wow this is going to be epic! What a stunning architectural wonder!!
What a beautiful place , so serene and quiet ( except for Eds. fart ) it was truly a world apart , with no signs of anyone being there before . Thank you Alex < Ned , and Pompeye for a place I will visit again and again . Top of the day to you all , God Bless , Stuart in Canada ..

I give that bathroom a 9 out ten rating
Oh wow I love explores of places like this, like a labyrinth of rooms and hallways. Very impressive
That last crapper was a tenner ,the best place I've seen so far loved the clock and the bloody bells was just the best what a place that was in the early 1900s with all the people that it took to run the place
Imagine being one of the household staff, the miles they must have walked each and every day, talk about Plantar Faciitis.
You guys definatly find the best buildings! That was such a classic beautiful building. Thank you and look forward to the next video. X
Awesome find. Wonderful craftsmanship that went into that ceiling and the woodwork, but the floors definitely sounds like it's over a century old lol. Cheers guys.
Look forward to every Sunday for your explores…. Loved this one.
Unconditional Love and Gratitude
Awesome place I sure hope they are repairing it !Reminds me of The Winchester house in San Jose,Ca with all the stairs and winding corridors.
❤❤❤what a beautiful place ❤❤❤the wood, the stained glass, the fireplaces ❤carpets❤ .the decor in general gives a lovely homely but regal feel. i bet it was a cool school to attend. Such a shame about the asbestos.😢
Love this channel, shout out to all of ya, swore I saw ya coming out the Co Op the other day, was gonna say hello, meet yer heroes and all that! I need to get a camera and so some explores, would love to document this kinda stuff, the clues you find, that are a window into a life long gone.
Place is very clean & has lots of live plants and fresh flowers for an 'abandoned' property....
Well done guys on this beautiful find. It’s brilliant.

Great video! 100K is on the way, lads!!
That is quite a house, we certainly knew how to build in this country, that has to be the best pool room I've ever seen, that fireplace, not to mention the view over the lawns.
Did anyone notice, not a single picture of the Archbishop of Canterbury..😂
You should have reconnected the bells to the mechanism.
Hey guys fabulous find and very entertaining, you all hilarious, gorgeous building, thankyou for your time and hard work 💞

Good afternoon guys. Good to see you again.🙂👍
That was such a massive place! You could have spent two days there and probably not seen the whole lot. Kinda worried that Ed wants to put a leotard on when you reach 100k😂
Keep on exploring and sharing your adventures.
What a fantastic building, so much history in it. Always waiting to see what you all come up with. You three are just fun and calm to watch. Thank you… NEW ZEALAND. Land of the hobbit lol
